i arrrived at the resturaunt at 8:45pm last night, i got my drinks first by a nice lady who was just getting off. from what me and my wife was told she worked the entife shift on her own, which we were very amazed by. However, when she left for her shift after the night shift workers came in, me and my wife had to wait a whole hour for our order to get taken. poeople who came in after us which was about six tables, had gotten thier order taken and left. After they left we fianlly got our order taken. not once were we acknowledged by staff. The only time we were spoken to by staff was to have our order taken. they did not offer refills, we had to ask. my wife had ordered a side of toast which was never recieved. when we went to to pay the bill the server that took our order made me wait another 15 min for her to get over there. When i mentioned that the toast needs to be taken off of the order due to being not recieved, i was told with attitude "I know that already." she was very rude and charged us $37.88. as someone who regularly goes there at night and keeps track of money i know i was over charged for it even with taxes. i will not be going to this store at night ever. i have been in the day time and the day staff are a delight to be around. my wife works at this store and any time shes on shift she gets yelled at about how she is going to get the store sued for discrimination, and make customers walk out, not once was that said to the server on duty last night. the cook glanced at us then at the customer who sat next to us as the server started taking his order and not once said a word about us waiting before him. we felt very targeted seeing as how any time my wife goes in for shift she has an issue with these...
Read moreI don’t even know where to begin — my experience at this Waffle House was an absolute train wreck from the moment I walked in.
First off, the food was so wildly undercooked I thought I was on a hidden camera show. My eggs came out looking like someone cracked them onto the plate and forgot the entire cooking part. The bacon? Limp, greasy, and colder than my server’s attitude. My waffle — the one thing they should be able to get right — was raw in the middle. I cut into it and it oozed like pancake batter. Disgusting doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Now let’s talk about the service, which was somehow even more appalling than the food. Our waitress looked like we were ruining her day just by existing. She rolled her eyes when we asked for menus, sighed like it physically hurt to take our order, and then disappeared for what felt like half an hour while our drinks went empty and our questions went ignored. When I mentioned my food wasn’t cooked properly, she just shrugged and said, “Yeah, it happens.” Really? That’s the standard now?
The vibe was chaotic, the staff seemed irritated that customers were even there, and I’m pretty sure the guy cooking was more focused on his phone than the grill. I left hungry, irritated, and concerned for anyone who eats there regularly.

Read moreTried this Waffle House location on Market St. for the 1st time this morning & it was pretty good. I ordered the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Texas Melt w/ side of hashbrowns "country" & "smothered" to curb my stomach growls. It was good, flavorful, not greasy & hit the spot. Nice preparation & it tasted wonderful. The Texas Toast seemed to be a bit "softer" than I anticipated (probably from it being buttered) but it was still toasted very well.
Opportunities for improvement: The hashbrowns were also flavorful, but came w/ about 30% less gravy (country-style) than 2 other local Waffle House locations I have dined at before. The counter I sat at, had not been fully wiped down & disinfected yet at a time where there weren't that many dining patrons inside & no one else was seated at the front counter. Wasn't bad, but wasn't a good cleanup job, neither.
My server, Teresa, was very friendly, prompt & possessed a positive attitude w/ a smile. Great service & it was contagious. Well done.
