If i could give this place negative stars i would because i had a terrible encounter with Kieara today. I placed an order online at 10:46 this morning. The "pizza tracker" told me that my order would arrive in approximately 15-25 mins. Maybe i dont exactly understand what approximately means but after about 40 mins and with the knowledge that i store is only about 7 mins away from my house i decided to call and ask about the order. Kieara answered and told me they were "really busy" and that my pizza was ABOUT to leave the store. So i decide to ask Kieara why the pizza tracker would tell me 15-25 mins if that wasnt an accurate eta. With an attitude mind you she proceeds to tell me about how busy they are and how many orders they had etc. I ask how they were gonna resolve the issue and surprisingly she offers a free pizza the next time AND HANGS UP IN MY FACE. Purplexed i call back to get details on my comp pizza only to be placed back on hold!! I hang up and call back only to be placed on ANOTHER lengthy hold until i hang up and call from my friends phone only to be asked IMMEDIATELY how i can be helped!! I ask her if she was the person i had been speaking with and she pretends like she cant remember when it had only been all of 5 mins if that. By this time the driver is FINALLY pulling up at 11:43!! While on yet ANOTHER HOLD i ask him if be knows Kieara and when he says yes i ask who her boss is only to learn she is the GM!!!! The GM.!! I dont know anything about managing a pizza store but i do know MOST restaurants are busy on Saturdays and the the GM should be a lot better at planning out shifts. I completely understand that things happen but the very LEAST the GM can do is be sympathetic and polite to an inconvenienced customer and i know because i myself work directly with customers all day 5 days a week. This was completely unacceptable and my family and i will never spend our hard earned money...
Read moreI ordered and paid for a specialty pizza, but received a cheese pizza. It arrived quickly, so I tipped generously. $24 order + $6 tip. Within minutes of the driver leaving, I opened the pizza box. I immediately called this store and explained I got the wrong pizza. I said the driver just left so maybe I got someone else’s pizza, thinking he could return and give me mine. The person who answered the phone, Brandon, put me on unexplained long pauses of silence several times, was defensive and unprofessional. I asked for a manager, but was told by Brandon, he is “one of them.” His offered resolution for the wrong pizza being delivered was to ask if I wanted a credit for a future order. I paid cash and it wasn’t intended for a future pizza order, so I declined and I asked for my money back so I could order pizza from somewhere else. He clearly had no intention of correcting the order by offering to make the correct pizza. My pizza order was obviously never made. Brandon stated maybe my pizza was lost or misplaced, a simple mistake. He said the driver would return with all my money, but that I needed to return the food. I agreed to return the food as it was not what I ordered, and I left it untouched. Driver eventually returns and gives me a refund of the order cost only, minus his $6 tip & wouldn’t accept the food back, which I refuse to eat. I told him I understood it wasn’t on him, and offered to give him some tip for his trouble, but not $6 because I never got the food I ordered. He apologized but still refused to refund the full amount or take less than the original tip, a tip which was given based on the assumption of a correct order being delivered promptly. The worst experience. I’m out time and money for nothing but a stressful experience. I...
Read moreThis is the most reliable Domino's in Wilmington. App orders are always on time and I know when I see Larae prepping the pie, it's gonna be a good one. Fantastic crew of drivers, cooks and staff that get your order done fast and delivered hot. I'll admit I get light sauce on the hand tossed pie because I think there's a tad much in the regular recipe but I just hit that minus button on the sauce for 'Light' and it comes out just the way I want it. The large 4-topping coupon for $11.99 is going constantly so I get pepperoni, Italian sausage, jalapenos and roasted red peppers. It's consistently great. I like to smother it in different hot sauces, especially Sriracha and Cackalacky (seriously, try it! It's SO good!). This location gets it done unless there's a massive disruption in their supply chain. That's a stressful environment and I hate that people only come on here after getting consistently great service to complain about their one bad experience. I know on Halloween night they had to stop taking orders. You have to understand there is only so much pizza dough that truck can deliver. That's not the staff's fault. I can't speak to other reviews but I've never had a mistake or a frozen pizza tracker or anything of the sort from this place. I love this Domino's location in particular. They deserve a lot of credit for their...
