My dad and I were visiting from out of town back on Saturday, 9/26, and we wanted to try out a local place with healthier breakfast options. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu and provided suggestions on what items might suit our wants/likes. I ended up ordering the Crispy Potato Brekkie and my dad ordered the Acai Bowl. I also ordered a Matcha latte. Overall the food was good, but the avocado on my plate was HARD and nowhere near ripe enough to be eaten. I ate the rest of my food and when one of the staff members was walking around outside checking on everyone, I told her about the avocado and that it wasn't edible. Her response was that they just got them in and she did not offer any options for making the situation better, which was a big disappointment to me. BUT what was an even bigger disappointment , was when I went to use the restroom, I walked past a staff member who was bringing out more rock-hard avocados that were needed in dishes that other customers were ordering. So despite my comment on the avocados not being edible, they were still allowing other customers to order plates with them instead of telling them they did not have any ripe avocados available and offering a substitute. It is a very cute place though and it became quite busy around the time we were leaving so may be worth checking out on a day when they have...

Inside the coffee shop At the counter a beat cop Being a routine buyer Late night special that soon will expire Keeping tabs On those driving cabs Is the dispatcher Finding a matcher Make the right run Passenger pick up done Sitting in a booth Paying bills keeping a home and roof In another corner Fiddling with a recorder A reporter Writing a story Saying ‘not to worry’ Then there is a teen Releasing poetic anger using words that scream Garage rock n roller Scribbling lyrics on a school folder Explaining what he told her Goal right now collecting green Will do anything for the team As the waitress comes bye Visiting each guy Pouring a drink Leaving them alone to think In a place Where a dessert brings a smile pleasing one’s face Discuss issues and build a case Over a blue plate Actually tasting great After paying bill Enjoying the fill They all leave Working for a fee To a degree Sitting back down In the diner town Server watches another group Come in enjoying an all night loop A teacher Preacher And a creature Working concession at the drive in double feature Wearing a costume Entertaining under the moon All here Bringing some cheer Simply put there is nothing to fear In a rural state of mind Where everyone...

I went to this place because of the healthier choices for breakfast. Upon my arrival, I ordered 2 quinoa, sweet potato, avocado, salad and egg bowls. The entire dish would have been delicious if it came out hot. I asked to have the food put in the microwave and was told they don’t do that and that the meal is served cold. The only thing on the dish that was hot was the fried egg. Which wasn’t hot it was Luke warm. If you like your food cold then that is your preference but I haven’t seen this dish served cold before. I have two little kids and I wanted to order a banana and strawberry shake but to my surprise it was pre-portioned already and I couldn’t change the shake. When we tasted it it was extremely sweet and very thick. They charge for a sit down price but you have to get your own utensils. It’s was a Clean place. Don’t expect much service and if you want another cup of coffee it’s another charge of 85 cents.

It’s not a restaurant but very expensive. My entire meal with tip and all was higher then 60.00.

I...

Friendly customer service at this order-at-the-counter coffee shop. Open, modern, and airy setting, with space to dine in or enjoy the tables outside in the sun, around back in semi-shade, or under the covered porch area. I ordered the Super Green smoothie, unsure if the broccoli would upstage the flavor blend. If you follow me here, you'll see I order green smoothies and fresh juice everywhere we travel, but I've never seen broccoli as an ingredient. The broccoli wasn't an issue at all, but the smoothie was heavy on the lemon juice, giving it a strong pucker factor. Once you got past that, it was a fairly tasty blend. The rest of the menu looked very interesting and I'll definitely be back for breakfast or lunch. 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Even though I live on the other side of town, the Drift has become one of my favorite places to have a healthy breakfast or lunch. Full of good light, music and a friendly staff. Michael always makes a point of saying hello and talking about the menu. I had a hot Mocha coffee this morning with breakfast and it not only was a work of art but so yummy on a cold morning. Would prefer if the regular coffee was not served in a glass carafe with a small cup. Guess I'm just a hot mug kind of girl. Let's support this place of good food, coffee and comfort.

Drift Coffee & Kitchen was such a good stop on our trip. The coffee was wonderful—smooth, rich, and exactly what we needed. The space itself is super clean, bright, and trendy, with a really welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. You can tell they put thought into the details, from the design to the way everything is set up. It was the perfect place to take a break and recharge before getting back on the road. Grateful for the pick-me-up and definitely would stop again. Also the salted Carmel oat coconut was phenomenal!
