We worked with Anna Ross to buy our first house, and you couldn't ask for a better realtor. She was quick to respond to us, our bank, and other parties. She was a strong negotiator but also very fair. She was on-time when showing up to tour properties. She is professional, kind, and thoughtful. She's the kind of person that remembers the little details about you, and she'll bring them up when browsing the MLS or touring a home. We'd get comments like "Oh that spot would be perfect for your garden" or emails outside of our MLS filter saying "This house looks like you guys" and every time she was spot-on.

We were first time homebuyers, and we were looking for something outside of the normal starter house. If it wasn't for her coaching, we wouldn't have purchased a home, or if we did, it wouldn't be one we are as happy with. A valuable part of that coaching was the candor she showed. When our eyes lit up at a property, she was quick to point out the challenges that property would take and she made sure not to forget those challenges when talking to the seller. She was also extremely patient with our non-stop questions.

She was especially great with us looking for a property in a more rural less-developed area outside of Wilmington. She didn't have any issue making long drives out to further properties, venturing through wooded areas, or dealing with the variety of insects that you find in the swampy parts of southeast NC.

There are so many unknowns when buying or purchasing a home. Melanie’s knowledge and experience is unmatched. Recently my wife and I decided to make a move from the Chapel Hill area to the Wilmington area. Having little knowledge of the greater Wilmington area we did what most people do these days, we turned to YouTube. During our search we discovered Melanie Cameron of the Cameron Group.
