I just went through this locations drive thru for 2 sandwiches for my fiancé and I, ( didn't check the bag for correct order and receipt before I left... My fault entirely ) got to his work and discovered they didn't include my sandwich in the bag. I drove back to the store, walked inside, there was no one at the counter at all after a couple minutes a nice girl asked had I been helped and I explained to her that I was there a little over a half an hour ago and didn't recieve my chicken sandwich. During the time I was talking to her explaining what happened an older female manager stood by listening but made no eye contact or effort to converse. Then thr manager says "oh here is your spicy chicken." (As she reached under heat lamp and started to bag up the sandwich I had left there over 30 minutes ago...) I asked if I may have a fresh one made, and the younger girl said yes. She asked the cook on duty to make a fresh one, he said why? She asked again nicley... "He said there was just one in there" she said again I need a fresh one... I waited for well over 10 minutes for this cook while I counted 9 cars get waited on in the drive thru.... She asked him how long for the sandwich and the cook yelled "5 HOURS!!!!" A few minutes later I see the chicken sandwich thrown and half wrapped into the heat lamp window from the cook... (Oh and during all this, I watched the manager trying to get another associate to help her clock out.... Directly in front of me..) I get in my truck with my sandwich at last only to discover the most disgustingly mangled chicken sandwich id ever seen, you could literally see how it was squeezed in a hand... ( those of you who know me... Know I'm not usually one to complain like this, in fact this is my first negative review ever) givin I have worked in the food industry before, i could not bring myself to eat this sandwich turned disgusting chicken...
Read moreI went through the drive through on 5/11 at this location and received old food that had been sitting under the warming lamp, nothing was fresh and even the milkshake was the wrong size. The next day, I returned to have my order replaced and was told since I did not have the paper receipt I could not get a refund or have the order replaced. However, I had my app with proof of purchase, as well as a screenshot of my bank statement showing proof of purchase as well (location , amount, plus my app showed the exact order.) I was refused any solution and told to bring the paper receipt and they’d replace the order. Once I found my paper receipt, 3 weeks later, I did just that. Expecting them to rectify a terrible situation. I was not rude, entitled, but simply asked for a solution based decision to be made. April, who is apparently the unqualified manager who condescendingly berated me on the phone, was of no help. Instead opting to try and use the small bit of authority she felt she had in a way that did this franchise a disservice. She also refused to give me corporates information and her name, it’s also off putting yet a sign that none of the employees are entrusted to make a single choice themselves but a mediocre manager who is nasty to speak with was forced to be called. I try to give grace the world is hard and people are trying to survive but lord knows common sense and customer etiquette simply doesn’t exist with...
Read moreEvery month or so I give Hardee's an unearned visit due strictly to the fact that I work less than a block away.
The food, when it's "actually" prepared the way I'm sure corporate intends for it to be prepared is pretty good.
About two months ago I went to the drive through at 8:37 pm. After getting the run-around about why I couldn't get chicken tenders, the manager cuts off the cashier and says 'sir, I have the right to refuse you service... I don't like the way you were speaking to my employee... Good night".
After driving off pretty well irritated it dawned on me that someone (the manager) didn't want to break the "hand beaded tender" materials and cook them because they were about to close at 9pm.
I would have been fine with something along the lines of: "sir, I'm so sorry but we have already broken down our hand breaded tender station for the night. Can I offer you a free dessert with your order?"
No, I get verbally abused and treated like some miscreant looking for trouble.
Hardee's, here's a little tip for you: it is vividly apparent that Hardee's is struggling in the dog-eat-dog fast food arena. Save some of the money you make those stupid commercials with and hire some competent, customer service minded managers who understand that if you serve a customer an under-filled, cold, hard order of french fries you may not see that...
