Indochine Express - Oleander — Restaurant in Wilmington

Not good folks. Don't get the pork egg rolls here. There is no pork in them. I took a bite, it looked like a veggie egg roll. I showed the front counter girl that I got veggie egg rolls instead of pork. She agreed. The manager came out and said that is how they make them here. My wife said "There is pork in the ones at the main Indochine." The manager said "We're not them. This is how we make egg rolls here." Unbelievable. There should be enough pork in a pork egg roll to make it clear that customers are eating a pork egg roll and not thinking they got veggie egg rolls. My nephew got Pad Thai, it was mediocre. He said he likes ramen better. The red curry was boring. The pork fried rice was doused in soy sauce. Not edible. We will not be returning. Same prices as Indochine, $70 for the three of us, but not even close to Indochine quality....

Just all around disappointed. Food was mediocre at best. You would think being attached to the indo name they would try a little. But nope. Everything was bland.

Not to to mention the food poisoning. 3 of is ordered food, 3 of us got sick. We thought maybe it was something else we had that day so we ate our leftovers the next day and wouldn't you know it, food poisoning again. Immediately threw the food out. There is no mistaking it was this place that caused it. So on top of the plainest take out you've ever had, you'll be living in the bathroom everyday after you eat it.

I would recommend any other take out joint in town over any of these places.

This is a small restaurant that seats maybe 18-20, which includes some bar seats that face the window.

There is no table service. You order at the counter and your food will be delivered to your table. I saw a lot of people do take-out.

I ordered the chicken Singapore curried noodle dish. I was thinking it was like the traditional Singapore noodles, which is made with rice noodles. This was made with egg noodles.

I'm not a fan of brown sauces, which this had, but it was fine. The curry was very light in flavor.

There are other items on the menu I would like to try.
