Love Jersey Mike's Subs. Chicken Philly add on Hot Honey and yes make it a giant.
That being said, what is a sandwich? Defined, it is something put in between two other similar or same something's that is different than the something in the middle. While that vague definition seems to leave a lot of options open, what you'll find when it comes to the sandwich world is there are staple offerings available at any respectable sandwich eatery. And then there is the way Jersey Mike's does it. While other places sandwiches are good, Jersey Mike's are great. Placing their take on the field in a world of its own. They are innovative enough to make your mouth water at the mention of their name, while true to the classics as to remain recognizable for what they are- a great place to get a delicious sandwich the way you like it. It just so happens more often than not Mike's way is the way you want it. The smell of oil and vinegar mixed with the fresh cut onions is divine in the strangest way possible. I have yet to be disappointed after receiving a sandwich from Jersey Mike's, but I am sure it is possible that they are not perfect all the time. Jersey Mike's just gets sandwiches right, and they keep it simple by focusing on getting simple really right. Side note, their cookies are better than bad, their good. Eat Jersey...
Read moreBack story: This is the first sandwich shop I've been to since the beginning of the pandemic. Experience: I was loudly greeted. I wasn't sure by whom because there was an army of people behind the counter. All, glanced up at me as I walked towards the counter. It was warm and inviting feeling based on what I just experienced at the rug place. A feeling anyone would expect from a customer-centric business. there was excellent signage, clear with numbers and just enough verbiage to make a decision along with a picture of the sandwich in mention. It is really nice to see smiling faces! I was shuffled along from the meat cutter to the condiment person to the cashier. Quick, easy, no fuss. It's basically the same with almost every JM's I've visited. Sandwich was to be expected. #7 Turkey and provolone with lettuce and tomato and mayo on fancy bread. It is good to be back in the wild again. And know that JM's still has what it...
Read moreI love jersey mikes but when I come to this location people rarely change gloves. They touch hats or uniform without changing gloves. One of the people topping my subs sneezed and couldn't bother to wash hands or change gloves. Sometimes my sandwiches don't have the full amount of toppings, missing the lettuce on the top or bottom of the sub. I've been in line and people just clock in and hop on the line without washing hands. One employee I've noticed on multiple occasions is wearing jeans and doesn't seem to be too hygienic. If they could just tighten up on professional standards I would have no problems. Most of the people on dayshift do a great job and I've noticed the improvement there. But night shift could definitely use improvement. It's definitely...
