I wanted to quietly email the manager/owner but could not find a link on their page. A few weeks ago I had lunch at Yamato and the service was real slow but I did not complain. The manager apologized on her own and said come back on us. Tonight I went back. I showed the waitress the card and told her I didn’t have my reading glasses with me what was the card good got. She said anything under $25. I said great and ordered something much less than that. After 10 minutes of waiting I finally flagged down the server.
I went to pay and the waitress said no the card would not work it was for appetizers only. I reminded her that is not what she said. She then said we will work it out. By the ime I got to the register the manager was yelling at me for not reading the fine print. I tried to explain. The waitress even kept trying to o get the manager to lower her voice. She kept yelling at me. I then said this is the second time I have bad service. This is unfortunate. I will pay but I will not be back.

Read moreThe place was fairly warm which is never fun to eat in a warm restaurant when it's 85+ degrees outside. The food took well over an hour to get and we all got our food at very different times from the first plate on the table to the last it took about 30 minutes or more... The food, was by far the worst Japanese food I have had. The rice was not fried even though it was suppose to be, it was mushy and bland, the portions were so small it was absurd especially compared to other Japanese steakhouse. Server was super nice but didn't refill drinks super often, menu pricing didn't reflect on their receipts as far as drinks go. But the food in general was the downfall, from the super long wait time to the small portions to the in general not great food, mushy rice, bland sauce, they don't even have ginger sauce or anything other than soy sauce and yum yum to give out. Never coming back to this place, if their foods quality matched the expected quality of the price tag and they could figure out how to feed 3 different patron groups without having one wait over an hour and a half for food, they might be...
