Armando's Pizza and Tacos of Wilson — Restaurant in Wilson

I been seeing the pizza place for a while now on airport rd in wilson. I’m Always trying something new. I decided to stop by tonight and order my family some pizza and wings. I like thin crust and it was loaded with my favorite meat and vegetables of my choice. The pizza was cut great as well. I didn’t have to pull nothing apart. Let me tell you. They didn’t let me down. The pizza was GREAT, and don’t let me mention the wings. My daughter had hot wings. They was crispy and seasoned well. I definitely recommend. I like when the sauce is fully covered over my wings. They even offer an awards program to get point towards orders or your future purchases and gift cards as well. They are new on this side of town and I’m glad they are apart of the Airport Rd family over here. They have a great new look inside as being new owner. Update: I finally got a change to try their tacos and if it was possible to give 100 stars I would do it twice. I had 2 birria and 2 al pastor tacos. I have eaten from every taco truck between Wilson and Raleigh and I can say without a doubt that these were the BEST tacos I have ever had in my life. They even threw in a free sprite to complete this magical meal. I seriously cannot overstate how good these tacos were - I want to drive back over and give each of the employees a hug.

2nd time ordering here, 1st time got a stromboli that was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best strombolis in town. Tonight I ordered a lamb gyro. They are not stingy at all with the lamb and will load it up there for you. It was absolutely delicious and the cucumber sauce equally so. The lamb gyro comes with a healthy portion of fries as well, so if the gyro doesnt somehow fill you up you have a heap of fries to do the job. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the garlic knots, they were absolutely mouthwatering and are easily better than what any local place can offer.
