It had been a long time since I returned to my hometown and I had been really excited to go to Scoops since it was Wilton's classic staple ice cream shop. I had many memories there and felt the nostalgia when I saw the Scoops sign with the papers explaining what Swamp and Mud are. I was a bit disappointed when I entered the shop at the way I was treated by the owner there. She made me feel that it was inconvenient that I was there wanting to try some flavors while also informing about my allergies. I was surprised and disappointed.
