I went to this place to eat for the first time, I noticed the owner greeting everyone. She acknowledged us but did not greet us. Bu I just let that go because I was hopeful the food would make up for it. Well I ordered a soup, and a few other things. They did not tell me it was it a container in a brown bag so be careful- well I get home and reach in to grab the soup and the container was almost melted the contents was scalding hot- it spiked on my hand and arm and burned me badly. I didn't want to go to the hospital and hurt her business- but I hope she lets others know to be careful- or put the soup in a separate bag and better container- if I was elderly that would have been terrible and a lawsuit. Also while at the restaurant she had a young lady working and was talking to her very rudely and demanding. They worker even rolled her eyes. I felt bad for her. And my soup the veggies were not cut correctly- they were half cut and just messy. I am not a complainer and never leave a review. But I just think it needed to be noted for other people who want to visit. I only rate it 1 because...
Read moreThe service really was attentive without being overbearing, professional yet warmly inviting. The facility was clean (which really is the most important thing), but uninspired in any "Asian" way that would make this a "destination" dining experience. The spring rolls could be half the size because they are HUGE, stuffed with noodle, and therefore lose flavor impact because it's too much noodle. The peanut sauce (house made?) was Delicious. I'm not certain if my prior experiences with pad Thai were Americanized or if this one was, but it was not what I expected. At all. Again, generous portions, more generous than necessary, as I would prefer higher quality over quantity. The pictures of the food, in the menu, make the food look anemic- just a name and description would be better. But that's kind of nitpicking... The crux is that Amy's could be a really exciting and enjoyable experience if she nails down one or two dishes and makes them exceptional. Maybe become the pho champ of Winchester? As it is, there's lots and lots to choose from... But none of it is remarkable...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about Amy’s Asian Kitchen. Every dish here is made fresh-to-order, and you can truly taste the care and love put into every bite. I’ve had their spring rolls with shrimp, and they’re honestly the best I’ve ever had. They were packed full of fresh filling and served with an incredible sauce that ties it all together perfectly.
Today I tried the pork belly sandwich, and I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never had pork belly before. It blew me away! The pork belly was so tender and perfectly seasoned – it melted in my mouth. The toppings were crisp and chopped nicely, and the bun itself was delicious. I’ve never had Asian food that tasted this good anywhere else.
I drive over 2 hours just to eat here, and it’s worth every mile. Lauren was my server today, and she was excellent. She was very kind, incredibly attentive, and answered any questions customers had with patience and knowledge.
This place is the real deal. If you’re thinking about trying it, don’t hesitate. You...
