To start with. I went through the drive thru and was told that I would have to go inside if I wanted anything because they were at a shift change. (Never heard of such a thing and I've managed fast food years ago). Secondly, I DID drive around and go inside because I had been craving Burger King's newly advertised Pulled Pork sandwich and their $1 tacos. I ordered and waited. And waited. I watched one of the girls put two tacos (which were already prepared and sitting next to the fries pan) into a bag and sit the bag under the heat lamp. Everyone after me received their food and had left. And I might add that I asked why it was taking so long and was told that they have to take care of the drive thru first. (Whaaaatt? I was just there) SMH. So, one of the 6 employees up front asked again about my pulled pork. The cook just looked at her and put what looked like a little Tupperware container into a microwave containing what I assumed was the pork. He acted so put out by working. So slow. He finally finished the sandwich and put it in the ready slot. She put it in the bag that I correctly assumed was mine and gave it to me. When I got home you can see what I was given in the way of the $1 taco. Not at all what I expected nor does it look ANYTHING like their advertisements. I never expect anything to look like the advertisement, but this was not even close. Notice the little piece of white. That is the lettuce. The little yellow looking thing is the amount of cheese in the taco and the shell was broken and the rest of the shell was not in the package. So disappointed. I will get my tacos from Jack In The Box or Taco Bell. Jack In The Box gives you twice as many tacos for the price and they are bigger. I also had to put the sandwich together because it was all over the packaging. Pickles were outside of the sandwich and pork all over. HOWEVER. I have never had such a tasty pulled pork sandwich. I wish I had purchased two. SO GOOD. If I ever go back, it will be for...
Read moreAs I am already aware being the first customer of the day is never a welcomed one, so I always try to be a little more lenient when in these situations. After being practically attacked by the McDonald's employee 30 or so minutes prior to this I wasn't going to push the envelope on Burger King. Since it was after 7 I didn't think we would have an issue. So when the gentlemen in the lobby shook his head in a no gesture I was rather disappointed. TreeThen as my husband &I began to walk away the guy came over, unlocked the door and yelled something at us.Thay of which neither of us heard or understood as he was going back inside with the door closing as he was speaking."We're going to serve you", was what he was saying. Although he wasn't happy about it he did let us in locking the door behind us.Now bare in mind it had been almost a year since we had eaten Burger Kings breakfast so we were getting acquainted with the menu.Which caused the lobby guy to have to let in another customer. We insisted she order ahead of us as we were still deciding. After she ordered I asked the gentlemen behind the counter if he would unlock the ladies room so I could wash my hands.Due to his not responding to my request I wasn't sure if he had heard me so naturally I attempted to reinerate my request, that of which he smuggly yelled at me that "yeah I got it, in a moment, after.." while he pointed to the headphones he was wearing & speaking into.I know his struggle running drive through, front counter, & also expediting & fry station by yourself is harsh, throw in the whole "1st thing in the morning" bit and you've got what I always referred to asa "chaotic cake". I worked graveyard...
Read moreI recently visited Burger King store 2239 at 3355 South Maryland Parkway, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered a five-dollar meal and a seven-dollar trio. At the end of the transaction, I noticed one of the meals didn't come with fries. I asked the cashier to add fries, but the transaction had already gone through, so I ended up paying extra for the fries.
When I spoke to the manager, explaining that I didn't want to pay more if I didn't have to and wanted what I ordered, he responded dismissively, asking, "What do you want me to do?" The cashier then approached with an unprofessional attitude, vigorously staring at me with her hands on her hips, and talked to me rudely while the manager remained silent. Despite my efforts to clarify my transaction, I received incorrect information.
Overall, the customer service was unsatisfactory, and I felt undervalued as Paying Guest.
Seth was a manager and the cashier was Julica. FYI, I had to make three transactions to even get the meals that I required so I spent over $26 for two meals that is unfair and I definitely should be compensated. If this helps, my order numbers are...
