Needed to stay close to LVCC but wanted to avoid the Strip and tourist spots. The hotel is catty corner from South Halls and right across the street from the police station so even though there's currently condos adjacent, it feels safe. Aside from occasional sirens and a gnarly pothole that trucks apparently love, it's extremely quiet. I couldn't even hear most planes over the hotel unless I was silent. And the noise from the hallway was minimal. I was told this was a newer hotel and it shows in the cleanliness and modernity but lack of knowledge of drop off/pick up area from taxi and Uber drivers. Courtesy toiletries, amenities, staff, and breakfast is abundant and good quality! Layout for the actual breakfast bar is super awkward and my biggest negative. There's not enough space to put your plate next to the waffle maker or space to make your cup of coffee or conveniently toss trash. It was well cleaned and restocked but with the lack of flow, meant guests and staff are on top of each other. Plates and cups were also tiny so you definitely will need to get up for refills and seconds and one day they'd switched to bad quality disposables. But still, worth a good breakfast and a nice space to gather! Wifi is shockingly good and the room was borderline spotless. Water doesn't get hot hot, rooms were a comfy temp and AC/heat was easy to figure out (though a tad noisy). The overall travelers staying here were for business, family trips, and a college sports team and I appreciated the normalcy among Vegas revelers, which was the goal for a working stay. So the hotel gets a 4.5 but I highly recommend this 5 star stay because the staff was phenomenal. Everyone was so personable and casual- not like the stuffy concierge we'd seen in the larger hotels' lobbies by the casino floors. You were welcome to stay and chat with them while they worked, we had a few laughs and they were super engaging. Everyone- the bartender, desk, security, cleaning staff to breakfast attendants were all eager to be friendly in a very genuine way- not because they're paid to do so but because time otherwise isn't exactly flying by at the pace of MGM. They were also super nice to each other, so good vibes all around with anyone wearing a Hampton name tag. We had a great view as well! Plus double blinds to blackout street lights when it got too dark to appreciate the mountain. This was the first hotel I'd ever booked on my own (someone else always seems to be in charge of stays, like a wedding room block or we AirBnb) and honesty not a single part has disappointed from booking and adding a friend who was able to check in ahead of my arrival all the way through to my early checkout time. Obviously pricier than the more popular hotels but very much the right fit for my stay and hopefully yours!

We had a Beyonce concert on Sunday and realized arriving on Sunday was not such a good idea, so I needed a cheap hotel for Saturday. Most of the resorts on the strip wanted $300+ per night for Saturday plus a resort fee, and I just didn't want to comply. After many hours of searching for the right place based on reviews, I landed on this Hampton Inn and I'm glad we chose this one! Wow, the place is like brand new. Everything is new and clean. There is a gated parking garage too, and it's right across the street from a police stations. We felt totally safe here, which is hard to say for most other smaller hotels in Vegas. Both sides of the King bed have a night stand, with plenty of outlets and USB ports. The bathroom is a great size although I don't recall there being a fan inside - or at least there wasn't a separate button for it. We did try the complimentary breakfast, and so did many others. It was quite busy the next morning and some of the food options had run out. What was left was pretty basic: turkey sausage, omelettes (just egg, no veggies or meat), cereal, oatmeal, bagels, etc. We took our plates to our room to eat in peace. There is even a bar in the hotel which was busy the Saturday we were there. Oh, also check-out is at noon, not 11 am like most other places. One point to mention: we didn't exactly check out by noon however. We stayed a few minutes after and when it came time to load our luggage in our car which took two trips, we couldn't get back into the hotel from the garage. Our key card stopped working exactly at noon! Not even the strip hotels do this, so fair warning (I just walked around to the lobby entrance and my wife stayed in the room so she could open the door manually). Overall I'm glad we tried this place, as I now have a go-to hotel with NO RESORT FEES (there is however a $17 per day parking fee) should I ever need one off the strip.

Hotel is decent. Staff is friendly. Restaurant is expensive and tastes like frozen entrees. They only provide service on request. Three of us were staying for nine days. Upon arrival our room was set for only two people. We called and requested our additional supplies. An hour later we called again and received them. Each day we had to request supplies because we couldn’t just have what we needed. On the 7th day I complained and was offered to be switched rooms which would do nothing to correct the situation. Parking was also an issue. Everything on the first floor near the entrance is for handicap and “diamond members”. The second floor is for electric vehicles. I paid close to $2500 for my week here and was relegated to parking on the uncovered third floor. Save the handicap parking of course, I get sick of dropping thousands of dollars only to be relegated to some low status where I get treated second rate. I enjoyed the hotel but probably not return due to their inability to provide basic amenities such as coffee and towels and bedding.

The air inside is unbelievably dry. Have plenty of water on hand. Other Hilton properties humidify their air to compensate, but this one does not. Hair Conditioner was not included in the room with soap, Etc. It may be available at the front desk or you may have to bring your own but if you have anyone with long hair in your group considering the dryness of the whole facility, you will absolutely need it. Noise is rather prominent here in the rooms, probably because of the floor to ceiling windows. Earplugs were needed because of the police station across the street (sudden siren bursts all night) and racing cars and motorcycles.

On the good side: front desk agent was phenomenal, food across the street was extraordinary, rooms are clean and very spacious - absolutely huge. Beds are new and very comfortable with extra pillows. Giant bathroom with the toilet & shower off in their own alcove and a separate door so there is bathroom privacy while allowing others access to the sink and mirror, etc. Shampoo and shower gel are in the shower on wall mounted dispensers, which is great. Also, I really love how the shower controls are on the opposite wall from the shower head, allowing you to adjust water temperature without soaking your arm while the shower starts.

Bottom line, if I were to stay here again, especially for a multi-day stay, I would invest in a small/inexpensive humidifier and leave the bathroom door closed (exhaust fan is always on) so that the sleeping area was not so arid. Also I would try and choose a room that was on the opposite side of the hotel from the police station so the siren & street noise wouldn't be so prominent.

  • Their "hotel shuttle" is Uber. Call the hotel when you're ready to go, and in 5 minutes there's an Uber taking you to the airport, or picking you up on arrival. What a brilliant system of not having to wait for some van who might get stuck in traffic, breakdown, have been unavailable driver, Etc. I cannot stress enough how great this is and how incredibly convenient it makes getting to and from the hotel and Airport.

Best. Shuttle....

We arrived at the hotel at around 2:30pm. Olga could not find our reservation. Good thing I had a printout and she found the reservation. She told my husband that the room was not ready which we totally understood because we were early. We drove around the area for about 20 minutes and returned to the hotel. I went to the reception by myself at around 2:50pm. I wanted to let her know that we were there and see if she wanted to start the "paperwork" first. She seemed to be a bit impatient indicated that she already told my husband that the room was not ready. She said since my name is not in the reservation, my husband needed to be present to check in. I had no choice but to go back to the car and wait. We waited until about 3:20pm and went into the hotel to see if it's ok to check in. Natasha was the one checking us in. She started the process and told us that the room was still not ready. She said to wait at the lobby. We waited until 3:50pm and checked the status. Natasha said the room was ready, but it needed to be approved by the supervisor before we could go up. So we continued waiting at the lobby. At around 4:20pm, my husband went to talk to Natasha again to see if we could go to our room. She said it's ready, but she forgot to tell us. The hotel was not even busy at the entire time that we were told to sit in the lobby and wait.

I filed a complaint with Hilton Honor that evening which I never done with any hotel that I stayed in before. I got a response back from Hilton Guest Assistance telling us that the Management team at the hotel would follow up within 3 days. We did not hear from anyone the entire stay of 5 nights. No proper housekeeping was done while we were in the hotel. They came in the room to emtpy the garbage after the 1st night only. They did not make up the room. They made up the room after the 2nd night. They did not even come in at all after the 3rd and 4th night. We had to talk to the front desk to ask for fresh towels two days in a row. By the way, the night crew at the front desk was nice and...
