It was 9:38pm when I walked through the establishment’s doors (they close at 10:00pm)…. Proceeded to the counter where I was met with an extremely unpleasant teenager that acted as if he was absolutely beyond annoyed that he had to wait on me and I was trying to decide on what to order which made him even more irritated! He didn’t even speak when I walked up to the counter, a “hello” would’ve been sufficient…. No “hi”, “bye”, “go to hell”, nothing! He was beyond rude! I ordered the pretzels w/queso cheese and a regular cheeseburger…. I asked him what comes on the regular cheeseburger and he looked at me like I had 3 heads as if I should automatically know what comes on DQ’s burgers!! Unfortunately I didn’t get his name…. And honestly I don’t even think he was wearing a name badge however, I could be totally mistaken…. I pay for my order and waited, standing at the counter until my order came up…. It took what seemed like eternity!! It was at least 15-20 minutes if not longer! I almost requested a refund and was gonna say forget it but he finally brings the order to the counter, I look in the bag to make sure everything is in there and the pretzels didn’t have the queso cheese with them so I asked him why wasn’t the queso in the bag and he answered in a matter of fact way “we’re out of queso”…. as if it was no big deal, ya know who cares if this customer doesn’t have queso for her pretzels, so what…. I snapped! I said, well, don’t you think it might have been a good idea to have informed me of the queso situation before I ordered the pretzels??!! I would’ve been absolutely fine with that if he had just communicated that to me before hand!! But he just made the entire situation a whole lot worse than it had to be!! Most awful experience I’ve had at that location! The kid was a complete jerk, honestly!! Lazy! Entitled! He basically went above and beyond to NOT give stellar customer service! I work with the public and have for many, many years and I love helping people and making people happy and to experience something of the total opposite makes me just unbelievably angry and never wanting to go back to that establishment again! This younger generation is totally clueless and the sad part is they don’t give 2 * either!! If this is what our future holds, GOD help us all!! If he doesn’t like his job or working with the public, do something else and stop making our lives miserable just because you hate yours apparently!! I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if I treated a customer the way I was treated tonight, my conscience would get the best of me! I’ve just never in my life seen anything like this generation!!! Read moreI went through the drive thru. I ordered one of their a1 burgers and wanted lettuce and tomato added to to. The girl procedes to tell me I can't do that on the $5 lunch specials. I said its ok, doesn't have to be the $5 lunch special. I could do just the combo no big deal. She then tells me again with aggrevation in her voice repeats the same thing. I replied its ok I will pay more. She continued to argue so I told her I would just come in. I go in order the a1 burger with lettuce and tomato added combo. She rang it up the total was $6.86. As I'm waiting on my food almost all the workers were standing around the other register talking about it. The drive thru girl was still upset about the order. I took my food , left, and it was cold. No sauteed onions that is was suppose to come with. Literally, a 1/4 slice of bacon. They put so little sauce on it I couldnt even tell you what it taste like . You couldn't even see it on the bun. It was a burger, swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato. My fries were cold and hard. It was bad, like gross bad. The good thing I could say the girl inside was very nice and had no problem...
