Poor customer service form current staff. I worked at this Burger King in 2009, and employees would get warnings or disciplinary actions for conducting poor customer service. I recently went back to this Burger King;I hadn't been back to it in years, and honestly, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. I had only gone back to speak to the district manager try to obtain an employment verification letter from them. I wouldn't have gone if they would have answered the phones in the first place. Well, the dinning room is still closed due to covid safety guide lines, and I was very rudely dismissed by a kitchen employee that was yelling at me through the locked glass door. Another employee, who I think is a cashier and works drive-thru, joined the kitchen employee in yelling insults at me and to go away. I started to yell back that I just needed to speak to the manager and that I was not there to eat. I know they could hear me because I could clearly hear them from outside beside a very busy street. They made me feel like a mad woman. I understand that they might be busy. So, I grabbed my phone and Googled the phone number again. They finally answered and gave me the number to CCC Verify. A very clear and subtle solution would have been to have an employee or the manager herself walk up to the door and ask what I needed, then proceed to tell me that they would be back with information because due to safety guide lines they could not let anyone in. NO! The manager watched me being insulted and ignored and did not do a single thing to deescalate the situation. I get it's a fast food chain restaurant and it's minimum wage, but I also worked at this place and we are the front line; the "face" of the business. We should provide good customer service (or at least try to) to anyone regardless. I also understand that employees get frustrated with several people just trying to get it in, but there are other more respectful ways to deal with every situation. I literally suffered the worst of amygdala hijacking because I was so emotional and mad for hours.
Update: I called the CCC Verify number and was told that they only verify potential and past employees but do not issue verification letters nor have a history for W-2's. I had to call BK back, and after SEVERAL attempts I got an answer. The cashier guy who yelled at me earlier that day answered the call and literally was like, "Oh, your the lady from this morning," and hung up the phone without a remorse. I called back and he hung up again, so I called again and the manager answered. She finally gave me the number to the district manager, but not once did she apologize for the male's unreasonably disrespectful behavior. I just want to get my verification letter and never again be back to this place. Not as a customer, even less as an employee. The current staff have no value for...
Read moreI was at this Burger King today and it will definitely be my last. I pulled onto the parking lot and headed to the drive thru. I was the 3rd car in line, I set there for 10 minutes and didn't move up any, there was cars behind me. So I kept backing up and pulling up until I got turned around, so I could park In the parking lot and walk in, to order our stuff. So my husband and myself walk in, leave my twins and mom in the car. We Get in there, order our stuff, they messed up on our drinks, we witnessed other customers bringing back there orders that had been made wrong. Seen the cashier yelling at another customer who's order was messed up. Had no tea made. And this wasn't even at a busy lunch time it was after that. So I leave my husband in there to bring food out, and I head out to make sure mom has air conditioning on for her and twins in the car by it being very hot today. So as I'm setting in the car. I see people coming and going with their stuff. People that had got there and ordered way after us. After 45 minutes, my blood is boiling. So I head back in to ask what was taking so long. My husband said they was making it. I'm not one to complain about places I go, and hello it's fast food. It's not a 5 star diner. And plus I don't complain alot, because I have 10+ years in customer service I know what it's like to be on that other side. But, what I seen out of my eyes today. This was nonsense. When my husband finally made it out to the car with the food, he said how the manager came up and was asking what he was waiting on, and he said food that was ordered almost a hour ago. The manager went asked cashier she proceeded to tell him that it was being made. When the manager went looked at the screen it wasn't even on the screen in kitchen. So they didnt know what they was making, they had to look off of the receipt. When we opened our bag the fries wasnt all that warm, and the chicken was over fried! This place needs new management and all new employees. I wished I would have just asked for money back, and went eles ware. But, my kids likes their chicky fries. But, next time I'll go clear across town to the other one. Last time stopping at this one. Fire them all, get more help. Fire them all,...
Read moreThe man with the drive-thru microphone was being very rude to both the driver in front of me and then me when I pulled up. I started by ordering the swiss and bacon chicken sandwich and he was frustrated with me and told me they don't have any chicken. This is the third time in a row where I have gone to BK and they haven't been able to make the chicken sandwich (the last time I went was 2 months ago). After paying and I didn't receive a receipt from him, I started quietly recording because something felt off. When he came back to the window I asked for sweet and sour and Marinara sauce for the second time and also asked for a receipt. He told me to pull forward and that the receipt machine was broken so he couldn't give me a receipt.
I then pulled forward (there were only 3 cars there the entire 20 minutes I was in the drive thru. One in front of me and then eventually one behind me.) and then after a few more minutes, he came out to give me my food and forgot the Marinara sauce for the Mozzarella sticks and sweet and sour for the chicken nuggets. So he went back in frustrated and then he came back and dropped some sauces into the bag and I drove off. (It was 8 p.m. at this point and dark so I wasn't able to read what sauces he put in.). Then after I opened the bag 5 minutes later, I saw that he didn't give any sweet and sour and instead gave me ranch.
The Mozzarella sticks were cold and the cheese inside was hard and fries were both cold and soggy as well. This whole experience was an absolute nightmare.
I also later checked and put my order in the mobile order app to see how much it would cost with tax and he overcharged my card as well.
This has been a trend for me at this Burgerking. I didn't complain anymore there because I prefer to avoid confrontation but this has happened all 4 times we have come here in the last 2 years.
I wouldn't have come here if my wife wasn't craving a original chicken sandwich. However, I will drive farther next time to make sure this doesn't...
