Oasis Steakhouse — Restaurant in Winchester

Great atmosphere but the service was very disappointing. We waited for an hour for an appetizer to come out and when it did it was burnt on one side and not done on the other side a blooming onion. Other tables came in after us and while we were still waiting on our appetizer they received the entrees. When our appetizer came out the manager did apologize and said the kitchen dropped the ball. At this point in the service industry they should have took off the appetizer or at least offered a discount Unfortunately that didn't happen. We sent it back since it was under and over cooked and had our waitress take it off the bill. Now 15 plus more minutes pass and still no entrees after an hour and 20 plus minutes, We decided to leave and pay for our drinks and a salad. While at the register they said our food was coming out. Apologies were offered and we ask them to pack it up to go. And as we were paying there was no offer of a discount just an apology. The apology was ok but a good service oriented business should offer at the very least a discount. Unfortunately we will not go back to this restaurant and will not reccomend it. On a side note our waitress was fine, like in any business it's a team goal for service and in this case the team was not on...

My husband and I used to enjoy eating there. The food is good, but our last dining experience was terrible! The owner has some sort of electronic(?) equipment for children to play with that is located IN THE DINING AREA. Two children of thoughtless parents allowed their children to play on the machines, loudly squealing and running around in the dining area with their boisterous behavior. Many diners were annoyed, but the lazy parents would not calm them. How is the owner to blame for this? He should not put children's play equipment in the dining area. I spoke with the owner, to no avail. DO NOT EAT THERE unless you don't mind having your meal ruined! We will not go back again until/unless the owner rectifies...

First time being there after hearing how great and wonderful it was. Their salad bar is good, only because of the meal I ordered that's all I had to eat. Not too sure I'll be going back anytime soon. I know Friday nights at any restaurant is crazy, but there was no excuse for tonight especially since the young waitress was telling the table directly behind us she and the bartender had just gotten into it. Yet people who arrived after us, got their food in a timely manner. Then when asked by the manager if we had ordered an appetizer, that shouldn't matter.
