place is DIGUSTING!! The lady working there charged me whatever price she felt, despite having the set prices on the menu. The chicken was incredibly DRY, corn bread was dry and nothing like how good normal cornbread is, sucked the moisture right out of my mouth. Hmm lets see the brisket was no where near actual brisket it was more like shredded steak....the steak you put on tacos even the seasoning tasted like it was made from a mexican cook. The beans were made with 2 different kinds and there were stray pieces of greens and other sides they have there in it. If I wanted some greens or Mac with my beans I would've asked. Everything even appearance wise was just TRIFLING and sad. you can taste the difference between soul food cooked by a black person and "soul food" cooked by a Mexican woman. Maaaaan where do I start the Old Man serving wore no gloves at all or mask I understand he's a disabled veteran as am I but now my wife is also for surviving the meal he used the same utensils from the chicken on the corn which he set on the countertop that man needs to be put out to pasture and not serving people food hell the only thing seasoned there is the employees and the food was dryer than him and he looked pretty dry if you ask me would give them a negative star if I could as a matter of fact if you too have had there food you may be entitled to...

Just keep going back. Again and again. This time had the Military soup: fit for Generals! Huge cuts of beef tips! Yum.

Was back again today for really delicious baked Chicken and Potatoes, along with the amazing collard greens and cabbage, too. Delicious.
