Envi U District Suites — Hotel in Paradise

The reason for this is review now is for reasons I felt lied too. The two ladies Mya and older lady were nice on the day I called in saying it was a special before the new year only to over hear them tell others the same thing a few days later after purchase another key because they give you only 1 key at time. Shower spout is sharp and leaking out the wall. Bathroom door is way off track and called and told them but other staff members don't listen and have an attitude as if your the problem complaining to them not my but whom ever else is answering the phones. My tub/floors is out ragesly filthy. Heat doesn't work and so called ac needs to be completely sealed so you can see the edges outside and needs to be deep cleaned. You can smell other peoples cigarette smoke from there rooms in your room because I done not smoke. Stove glass is push in and stove top dent to not close and refrigerator is dents and you have to make sure it closes. And up on being hear, there is Roaches everywhere. I bought stuff first until pest man came which he sprayed all over the things we had clothes dishes new pots and pans etc... only to tell me to buy some better stuff online than what he had i have a pet which is sick now. Roach hatching and baby roaches coming out everywhere. So I had a family in another state send me something way better and guess what, the infestation came out worse mama roaches and all different size coming out of everywhere. I'm having panic attacks with my teen daughter now so I'm trying not to leaving bring them with me now. I'm leaving as soon as my date is up. So don't come here ever. If your the exterminator everyday or killing roaches from sun up to sun down. Yes it's quick but then a few homeless people still sleeping in a few hallways so there police signs or lighting don't work. Burners on stove are rusted but work, lite over stove not work, bathroom fan not working cable works when it wants to and you would have to call it in yourself. Ain't nobody got time for that if your killing roaches left and right and spraying. People don't clean up dog crap and homeless people trying to break in so you gotta call some kind of security on their paperwork. The pure laziness of their people and attitude is ridiculous. So if you need anything done and you go to the office the scream out your room number loudly in front of people so everybody know what room you in. Someone can stick a credit card In the door or butter knife in to get in your door scared my teen daughter to deaf. So you better not go to the store without time. Or your getting robbed for sure so I don't think they switch out the locks when people leave here. Shooting every night so walk your dog early before dark. So this is my honest review to be hear 1 week and a half and if you use debit or credit it 5% more which can add upto about 115 bucks more to the bill and 10 bucks for extra key. And last is my favorite I asked for a downstairs because I'm Disabled, they gave me a 3rd floor but only to hear them give someone the 1st floor right after. I have heart failure......

September 9th 2024 I came to this looking for a fresh start from day one I had issues with the manager Jennifer there was multiple things that was done to me that I had no idea of I was a great tenant I paid my rent on time every week January 5th 2025 I had to leave due to a unfortunate situation but when I left I was hit with an illegal eviction I came to realize that this place really do put evictions on people credit if you do not pay attention to your credit you would not know what's going on the people in the office was horrible Jennifer the manager is a terrible person for even letting this get this far I had to pay a lawyer to go to court with me to prove that I was not even on the complex during the time that the eviction went through I also had to dispute this on my credit I did win my case after going to court and proven that this was not me and I was not on the property it was said that I broke windows and also back rent even though I was not even on this complex anymore this is the worst place to go if you're looking to start over the people in the office treat you like trash and as if you're not human it took me months to get this stuff done as far as going to court and also disputing with this off my credit yes I want my case and yes I proved that this was not me this is still a sad situation for anyone to go back and forth about something that was not my fault the complex itself is a run-down place roaches and bad tenants the manager Jennifer doesn't care for nobody I was such a great tenant I was even chosen to be a long-term tenant but she still allowed for them to put a eviction on my credit again I did win my case it's no longer on my credit but please be aware if you ever in any situation and need to come here please get all your paperwork document everything and show proof of everything because if not they will take advantage and she will put an eviction on your credit without you even knowing they did this by making up a fake email address and doing this online me and my lawyer went to court and proved that this was not me but this is just to show how this complex or even the manager operate please have proof of everything coming into this place because they will screw you over at the end Jennifer told me the eviction was legal but it wasn't she also told me I was not going to get my deposit back which I did this is just proof to show that not all places is a good place and this place is one of them Jennifer does not need to be a manager here she is the worst do your research before you go here I don't think the company itself is a bad company but the people that work for the company are frauds Jennifer is...

First of all, I didn't know who is posting these glorious reviews, but I am going to speak the truth.

When I first moved there in March 2021, it was an ok place. You can't beat this location. I was very happy. Then, the truth was revealed. My car was stolen, to never be found. I let that slide. Then, I started seeing people walking around at 3am, just walking around like zombies. Random people, knocking on my door, on the second floor, at 3:30am, every other day.

Then, my unit was broken into. I believe they used some kind of tools to spin the deadbolt.

Everything, EVERYTHING was stolen. Food, clothes, electronics, everything. But what was curious was, they didn't steal the television off the wall in the living room, but all of MY stuff was stolen. So I alert the front office, and they told me, "It's the neighborhood that I live in'. Point taken. I immediately move out . So then I do some investigating of my own, and I find out they they hire ex-cons with burglary convictions. I also find out that the " security " leaves at 2am for the day. I also find out that once the security leaves, the homeless people that live in the drainage canal up the street near the recreation center, come to this property and have their way. I physically saw this with my own two eyes. I saw multiple homeless people sleeping in the middle section on all 3 floors and no security said anything, all day and night.

I remember I went back over to this property on my own, and I walked around, dressed in all black, to see if I could see what was really going on. In the courtyard at 3am, I must have seen 50 people, that were looking smoked out, just lounging and socializing like they were at Lollapalooza. Ain't no way someone that lives there would be out there like that at 3am.

So then, I was back by the west end of the property, and I see this guy that smelled really bad, walking around the doors, at 4am. He had large trash bags in his hands. I can guarantee you that he was about to commit a burglary.

The next thing you know, he hauled tail to the front of the property and I watched him walk right down to that drainage canal and disappear into darkness.

This place has become an absolute cesspool of criminal activity. My last 4 months of living there was in absolute fear, because of the wildcards of criminal activity. You would be better off sleeping in your car, than trying to move into this place. Those other glorious reviews just haven't seen the truth. And oh, you will indeed see the truth of this terrible...
