Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Winchester

I wanted to see how Popeyes fish sandwich compared to Arby's fish sandwich. I know that Popeyes fish sandwich is made from flounder and is flat but the coating was either over cooked or just too greasy and I ordered the mild and not the spicy sandwich but WoW I felt it going all the way down my throat. I wouldn't want to try the spicy 🔥 that is if you are into your lips and mouth being on fire. However I did like the way it was wrapped in a foil bag keeping the sandwich warm. I also purchased the shrimp 🦐 tackle box with a Mac and cheese side it also came with a biscuit and Louisiana cocktail sauce I was expecting the sauce to be real spicy but it was really good and the shrimp was juicy with a light crunchy coating and was really good the Mac and cheese was ok creamy but tasted like most of the same old restaurant fair. The biscuit was small overly buttered and either yesterday's or just baked too long. So I was just not impressed with the sandwich but the shrimp was delicious and I have to say that the fellow that took my order was very friendly and helpful!! Omg I definitely found a hidden gem at this Popeyes location. We were currently on a road trip and we just happened to find this Popeyes restaurant and oh my God as soon as we walked in the customer service was 10 out of 10. Lisa stood out the most all the chicken was made fresh they provided us with coupons right away, which we were able to use during the transaction which we got the 14 chicken mix with two sides oh my God the chicken was the best Popeyes chicken I had in a long time and I am definitely a number one Popeyes restaurants fan the food was cook to perfection. You can tell that the team was working together. Everyone was smiling very friendly. I would definitely be returning in the future my kids enjoy the food Lisa made sure we had extra plates and napkins and condiments.
