My husband and I have been bringing our kids to Scorecard since they were toddlers. We go back pretty often to meet up with Friends and Family. Last night, my youngest Graduated High School. By the time the ceremony, picture fest, tears, and smiles wrapped up, it was getting late and the idea of continuing the vibes at Scorecard quickly spread within our Friends group. Approximately 50-60 people all from our local High School made their way to SC between 9:30-10 pm. You would think this was a staff/kitchenâs nightmare. The entire Restaurant Staff could not have been more ACCOMMODATING! The waitresses were so patient with the overwhelming amount of teenagers. They even spontaneously opened the back room so that way they can all sit together together. My kids âgrew upâ in that room. So many memories and celebrations were honored there. And now, one of the biggest days in these âSmall Townâ Teens lives will always have Scorecard in their Hearts and Minds. To the Owner and Entire Staff at Scorecard, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this experience a positive one. None of us accommodated last night will ever forget the amazing hospitality from all of you! Itâs because of times like this that as kids grow up and get to choose where they want to go eat/gather/celebrate that they choose to reunite at Scorecard. When they come home from college and need that âwarm homeâ vibe, they always think of Scorecard. For anyone that is considering giving their business to a well appreciated company,...
Read moreSometimes great ..other times not. I was in a month ago. I had a chicken club wrap with some homemade potato chips. The whole meal was fabulous. I was in the other day. The wrap was excellent. The chips were raw. I could literally bend the greasy potato chips in my hand and showed the bartender and she asked if I wanted another beer. I said no, I would like another order of chips that are actually cooked. She looks scared and went back to the chef and came back with a pile of burnt potato chips, which I took home because it was several minutes after I had already eaten. She said they went â the other wayâ And I found that there was a pile of the potato chips, actually raw in a clumpy thrown in, so Iâm wondering if the staff is scared to tell the chef that thereâs anything wrong with the service. Itâs a very weird vibe overall there these days . Itâs almost empty every time I go now and I got a draft Coors light for five dollars and my girlfriend got an actual bottle of Michelob ultra and they paid 50 cents less for it so I donât even know what their policy is, I guess a bottle is cheaper than draft now? Overall, very inconsistent and I would be Leary to âquestionâ the cook if your food isnât right. My girlfriend said her grandsonâs friend got food poisoning on their...
Read moreWe were semi-regular. The food has been very good each time we went there. But service was poor each time. Upon walking in servers have rolled their eyes at getting another table. The last time the server just dropped off food and walked away for drinks, then appetizer of French onion soup then entree. Never checking on quality during the entire meal. Other tables expressed frustration at not getting service, their bill, etc.
Their French onion soup was always one of the reasons to go. The last time there it had no flavor. We wanted to return it but our server never came around to ask how our soup was and walked away after delivering entree, so we never got to say it was not very good. I finally was able to get the server to come to the table and I shared we didnât like the soup and we didnât eat it. We were argued with about the soup. I pointed out they never asked how our food was. I had to question why it was on the bill if we barely touched it and was never given the chance to send it back. Ultimately it was removed but then my sister was charged for a side that was supposed to be included with her steak dinner.
There are enough places in the area that offer good food but also offer great service. Sadly, we will not...
