I Used to come tanning here my whole adolescence, I loved it. It was fun, welcoming, and always a good experience for me and my friends to tan. The staff was always helpful, kind and inviting. I havenât been in years due to not wanting sun damage so I decided the other day it always brightened up my day and tanned my skin, So I said Iâll give it a go again. I checked the hours on the site and went in by 640 to tan, being that it stated they closed at 7 on the site. I went in and was greeted by 2 less than enthusiastic older women telling me theyâre closed. I told them the site and google stated 7. They said âhe forgot to change thatâ do they actually close at 630 or did they just want to close early due to lack of customers. Either way, an inconvenience but not too bad, until I decided to go back the following day. Leaving plenty of time, I arrived and was extra careful and considerate when speaking to the older woman as I always am, giving her my most respectful voice, etc. finally after purchasing a lotion she asked, â Do You know how to use the beds?â I explained yes , if they are the same as before. She stated, â No, they are not, you have to push the BLUE button on the OUTSIDE of the bed after you are done undressing after the 6 minutes (or before) I replied, â Oh so you donât have to push the inside button like you used to, She replied, â No, Push the outside BLUE button.â Okay, (You used to only have to push inside button when ready and the timer didnât start until the bed started) So I start getting underdressed and applying my lotion and have 3 mins or so left on the timer to undress so Iâm ready and push the button, nothing happens the tanning bed doesnât turn on. I push it again the times counting down all while Iâm trying to cover myself and call out âExcuse me, excuse meâ , to no avail. So I redress and put my clothes back on and walk out to the worker whoâs mid convo laughing with another women, I said it wonât turn on, she said I told you to push the button on the inside!? I was in disbelief as I couldâve sworn she specifically said Do NOT, (albeit no different than before) why would she even need to explain it then if it was the same as before, adding to my assumption ? So I tell her Oh Well the time counted down from 12 to about 8 she replied, âWell thereâs nothing I can do once the timer counts down it has to run through its time!â Extremely rude might I add. As if me interrupting her conversation and cigarette break had really ticked her off. I have had no Issues going to this salon out of the probably 5 or so years I attended it, until this woman. So I accepted that Iâd lost almost half my time and tanned the remaining amount. I felt so uncomfortable having to exit passed her, She just is very rude, unwelcoming and seems to really dislike her job. Thatâs not even to add the argument she had with my s/o after I told him what happened. He went in to confront her and ask her what happened and why she didnât accommodate me for the time lost and she responded ignorantly as expected. I was going to let it go but I feel if they would work on their customer service perhaps the beds wouldnât always be vacant. I love this laundry/tanning place so I hope they work on the customer service, and train the employees a bit better. If sheâs more concerned with getting to her smoke break than helping a customer, thatâs an issue. Also my s/o Mentioned during the argument they had that, She couldâve easily solved the issue by providing me with a new bed and reset the timer. She hadnât done any of that, and stated, âShe shouldâve asked for that.â I donât believe itâs my job to problem solve, when Iâm just there to tan. If she hadnât been so rude and dismissive perhaps I wouldâve felt more...
Read moreI came to this laundromat for the first time ever, to wash one of my patients clothes, and I was disappointed from start to finish. The washing machines had so much hair in them that I had to wipe it out myself just to use them. Then one of the machines I used left the clothes soapy and fully soaked despite me putting in the exact same amount of clothes and soap in all of the machines I used. I say something to the woman, whom another customer told me is the new person,( that was standing and chatting with another woman I was told is the owners sister,) just to be told, with a nice big grin on her face, that she just closed the office so she can't help me. Then I spent an hour and a half drying this single load of clothes. At 25¢ for 6 minutes, you do the math. Needless to say, I've been living in this area for over 15 years and I'm never coming back here again and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know that this laundromat is a waste of money and the reviews, which were the only reason I chose this laundromat, are dishonest and very clearly written mostly by friends and family of the owner. The other customer I spoke with expressed that the owner is kind but that means very little to me when her judgment of character shown so poorly through this new worker and the owner's sister.
I have multiple patients and I work 60+ hours a week. Just trying to do a little laundry shouldn't be an unnecessary endeavor that starts with filth, has disrespect mixed in, and ends in money wasted on still damp clothing that now have to be hung and dried in the house. I'm disgusted and I wish I could get my money back. I can't say for sure whether or not the other customer was accurate about the relationship between the owner and the taller woman but that information does not change my experience Update: Owner replied I was at a different laundromat but the review is tied to my geo location at that time so I was at her laundromat. The same laundromat in the photos at the...
Read moreWonât be going back. Went here before and the dryers do not give you the full amount of time per quarter. Told them about it many months ago and was treated like I was lying about it. Gave them them the benefit of the doubt and decided to go again bc they have air conditioning. Wrong! The air conditioning was broken during the heat wave but air conditioning was working in the area where they have the folding and dry cleaning services. Had the same issues with the dryers not giving the full amount of time. Told the older blonde woman with glasses about it and she was flat out nasty about it. Said âwhat do you want me to do about it?? Iâm not the owner and I canât fix itâ. So I said give me a quarter to give me the proper time since I had 3 dryers that shorted me time. She snapped back âwell Iâm giving you more time than you lostâ Really?? That how you talk to customers?? They are doing it intentionally EDIT: Reply to Mitch. First off, you didn't even address the issue prior when told to you months ago. Second, you did not address the rude behavior of your employee. Which you can ask her which dryers because I showed her. Thirdly, I am aware of the different dryers and the timing of them. Like I said, it is not my first time there. I was using the big dryers for 5 minutes by the window facing the parking lot. Btw, the one didn't even work because the door...
