Had dinner here tonight and was surprised with the lack of consistency this restaurant provides. Ordered French onion soup it was literally a bowl of onions no cheese or bread. When asked why it wasn't included in the dish I was told "it depends who makes it". I was offered shaker parmesean cheese as a remedy to which I declined. $5 for a literal bowl of stewed onions is crazy. When our appetizer of wings came out 6 for $9 it came without any blue cheese or ranch to which I again had to ask about. Then by the time our entrees arrived my chicken Alfredo was so watery it had zero flavor. It tasted of pasta water and salt. I was frustrated at this point from starving at dinner and asked the waitress if this is normally how its served she said once again "it depends who makes it" to which I find problematic for a small business. The consistency was not there and the food was not edible. I paid $44 w tip to starve at dinner and will not consider this restaurant in the future considering I have to catch the best chef upon their schedule to have a...
Read moreThe only restaurant in the Windber/Johnstown/Richland area that I will never order from again. We order take out three times a week minimum as a married couple without children. So to say we won't order from one of the limited number of establishments around here is saying something.
Two delivery orders in a row took well over an hour to get to us. We live 4.4 miles away on Erickson Drive. First order, not only cold, but had the wrong toppings on my sandwich. Ok, fine. We try again.
Second order, again, cold upon arrival, and, this time both of our orders were wrong. My wife and I kept it simple and both ordered Cheese Tortellini with Alfredo sauce, along with Old Bay Cheese Fries.
Order arrived with Marinara sauce on both orders instead of Alfredo, and, the fries were inedible (both orders). Our order was $57. Restaurant refused to redeliver the order, and then would only refund us $34 instead of $57.
Do not order delivery from here. Not sure what dine in...
Read moreBella's is my favorite pizza in the area- it's better than some NY places by a landslide! Big NY style slices, generous amounts of toppings and the sides blow it out of the water they're absolutely delicious and feel up-scale. The fried zucchini for example in my photo isn't breadcrumb but like a tempura beer batter style and it's my favorite way to eat fried zucchini. The cheese sticks are so flavorful. The tiramisu is decadent and an incredible treat.
I order Bellas and feel like a kid at Christmas when I pick it up I'm so excited for it. Thank you for making my cheat days extra...
