Stepping into Fire and Ice in Windham, Maine, felt like a nostalgic trip back to the South Shore of Massachusetts—a place where people gather over great food, talk sports, and enjoy a classic bar pizza experience. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.

The South Shore bar-style pizza was everything I had hoped for and more. The crispy, caramelized cheese edges and buttery, well-balanced dough took me right back to my days living in Massachusetts. The pepperoni cups, slightly charred on the edges, added the perfect crisp bite, and the combination of sauce and cheese was spot-on—savory, rich, and satisfying. If you're craving authentic South Shore-style pizza, Fire and Ice does not disappoint.

As if the pizza wasn’t enough of a treat, I had my first-ever rolled ice cream—a fantastic surprise to round out the meal. Watching it being made right in front of me was an experience in itself, and the final product was just as enjoyable. The creamy texture, paired with chocolate sauce and a generous swirl of whipped cream, was the perfect contrast to the piping-hot pizza.

Beyond the food, what makes Fire and Ice special is the people behind it. The owners are passionate about their craft, eager to share their pizza-making process, and genuinely happy to chat with customers. You can even watch them make your pizza right in front of you, which adds to the charm of the place.

If you’re in the Windham area and looking for a true South Shore pizza experience, Fire and Ice is a must-visit. From the food to the people to the atmosphere, it’s a place that delivers on all fronts. A fantastic dining experience that I can’t wait...

Ordered a 12 inch pizza with green pepper, onion, and burger. The pizza was great although I feel as through I was ripped off due to the fact that there was barely any burger meat on the pizza… if there was adequate amounts of meat on the pizza I would have gave a 5 star review. Unfortunately due to this I won’t be ordering from fire and ice again.

Since the owner made it so that you cannot reply to his rude made up responses, here it is:

What is actually sad is the fact that instead of making it right with a dissatisfied customer to better your company, you instead make the choice to reply to this post with a completely made up lie.

Additionally, after making my initial post last week, you called me and said that you would make it right with a new pizza. It was what I thought to be a great show of sincere customer service.

Unfortunately, I woke up this morning to this made up lie that I am a fellow “pizza competitor” and that is truly sad.

Constructive criticism is meant to help better you to improve in your business by showing you a suggestion on what went wrong and how it could be better.

Someone missed the mark here and it surely was not me as a customer writing a polite review on your product.

Second edit in response to aggressive owner: I would never come back nor would I ever recommend anyone eating from your business as you are clearly...

We planned to get there close to opening to be sure to try this pizza everyone is raving about....So worth the trip 🙌 My son got a cheese and I ordered a pep with a little extra char 🤤 We sat at the wood bar and chatted through the window as we watched the magic happen! My son (8) LOVED to watch the pizzas being made! I can't believe he had any room for ice-cream after inhaling almost his entire pizza while raving its the best pizza he has ever eaten, but after watching youtube videos on rolled ice-cream we went for the full experience 😆 He picked chocolate topped with Andes chocolates. So neat to watch the process, but even better to eat! The most creamy, fresh ice-cream it can't even be described!!! I'm not a huge fan of ice-cream but I ended up eating half!!! The pizza is the best I've ever had and same with the ice-cream and I'm not even exaggerating 🙌 The entire staff(family) totally rocks, super friendly and answered all our questions while we sat and ate 🫶 Can't wait to get back down this week and enjoy some more🤤 Absolutely well done all...
