Goodwill Store — Local services in Windham

So o. The door of the store it says 7 pm I walk in on a mission to gathering neeeeded items to leave for my travels across the country and this mananager is the first person I've heard be sooo rude to everyone.. from the moment I walked in I hear bickering and cords tones at the register as a women was charged to much and the employee wanted to give her a gift card not her cash in return for the discrepancy, as I go about next thing I know it's the 5 min warning I look and see it's only 5:55pm 😒 hmmm ookkkayyy I'm in the store let me finish in a timely manner respecting the fact your work day is over no lingering grab it and get to the check out line... as I spot the items I needed I hear a customer saying how the mananger was going to come to come yell at us... hmm i then said if that woman yells at ne as I'm already int he store and heading towards check out along with the other customer allowing her to go fist and check out. As she's doing so I am poking around the items a Right in eyes and ears proximity legitimately 20 feet at the purses and bags, then the manager legit come out of the back and starts to yell now I mean a tone level about a 6 😒😤😠🥺😥😳 Myself while sternly speaking I use a 4 with speaking to teenagers or safety matters,, now I was already in line awaiting my turn my things were at the register , sooo yeah never to a customer should a level be above 5! Im sorry but no matter what's going on in your life Ma'am the way your treated the customer in the last 15 min of your dhift today effected thise of us hou were crude and overwhelming overbearing. Take a beeak and chill out next time for everyone's sake.. and change the dang times on your dang front doooor...

This store has gone completely downhill. There are friendly enough people for the most part who help the customers and find deals but there are a few who RUIN it! Rose I think her (assuming pronouns here, apologies if otherwise) name is, says she’s the manager and if that is true, I hope someone above her sees this.

the prices and inventory are OUT. OF. CONTROL. Is selling a racist doll for $20+ really best for the stores reputation? I guess for some but to me and my family who shopped here for 3+ years it really sucks seeing that. Is goodwill in control of what goes out or is she (rose?) specifically? That would make sense if so with the looks we got. this is goodwill not an “indie” boutique. The prices should reflect that. rose is the RUDEST person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. Pushed all the blame and responsibility on some blonde woman working then went to the back. Good sign of leadership there? No. No it is not. literally saw a cashier crying secretly on my way out after speaking with this woman.

I will not return nor will my family, tribe, or employees. We used to love this store. It was clean, fair prices, and good environment. I’m sure this pricing is a push from goodwill to sell more but in this economy? Greedy. Letting a woman like that run that location? Unconscionable. I urge anyone reading this to move your business away from this store especially but even Goodwill as a whole. All then”Good will” is gone from this sloppy and poorly mismanaged shop. Hi! Today I dropped off 20 brand new mint condition new era care bears, some in original boxes (depending how employees put them out) two are anniversary collectors with authenticity certificates (again depending how they are processed and displayed) 40th anniversary purple sparkles with castle tummy and then the all white sparkles with diamond nose anniversary bear. My friend Danny always supported my collection, and he was an amazing father to 3 little girls. We were in recovery together and each bear was bought in a passing month clean n sober. Danny lost the fight and passed away last month. I think of him and his girls everyday. Today I pray the bears be dispersed to children (and adults alike) and bring smiles to people.
