The Shed Bar & Café — Restaurant in Windsor

From the outside the Tobaco shed looked inviting, it appeared the ownership put a lot of effort into the appearance, and were proud of their establishment. I arrived at about 12:00 midnight. Sitting next to a girl who had a drink and a few shots. I ate my wings and sipped my drinks. I asked for one more, and I was told last call had already been called... (ok, no big deal, I don’t remember the server asking but that’s cool) the server asked if I was finished, I replied, “sure if it is last call”. She said, “well you can still do shots”! I have never heard of a place encouraging customers to do shots later in the night, especially when facing a ride home, what kind of policy is this? Who offers only shots after last call? I mentioned to the bartender that it seemed odd, she pointed to the girl who was sitting next to me and said “she is the owners daughter she makes the rules”.

This message is to the owner, of the nice establishment, that such protocols are being determined, by perhaps someone who does not understand the liability and concerns that go along with having a liquor lisence, and the insurance to protect your investment. Please rethink the last call shots only policy, for the sake of your customers and others sharing...

I ordered full pans of food, the pans of food was NOT full so beware if you choose to as for full pans they are NOT full. If you can put a so called full pan into a half a pan somethings wrong. Don't bother the café is NOT kept up tables were nasty they blamed it on a busy night. It was noon, dusty and dirty just plain as day filthy and sticky floors. I put my paper on the counter and it stuck due to something sticky. Let's not talk about the daughter who's the so called bartender omg what an horrible 😫 horrible experience. I have NEVER experienced a bartender that don't work for tips neither smile NEVER even when you try to make her smile. That was it for me. I was telling another person about the experience and they experience the same thing and said they will never go back and it's been a few years since they step foot up in there, I would hate not going back because I met Paula who is an amazing person with a fabulous personality, Nicolle/ Nicki just not a nice person great way to ruin/ loose customers. It was in walking distance for me but i guess I'll be getting in my car going down to Wilson find a new hang out that way. Lost a few...

When you walk into the restaurant you could see some Elvis memorabilia and a beautiful motor cycle made of wicker. We sat down at a table as the bar tender looked at us. We waited, we waited, we waited as she helped sitting bar guests and restocked the cooler with beer. We waited. After about 10 minutes, because I always time service, the tender yelled over and ask if we were there to eat. I wanted to say Nope , just came in to stare at the motorcycle. But I refrained myself. So my wife politely said, yes please. Her response was the kitchen is closed. So my suggestion to you is don't bother going here as the future only holds doom and gloom for this...
