Stephano's Pizza — Restaurant in Winfield Township

First off Stephano’s has the best sauce in all of Northwest Indiana the Chicago suburbs! It is the perfect combo of oregano and Italian herbs to a lightly sugared sweet, savory goodness that will keep you coming back for more because you can’t find any taste quite like it! Last night was my first time trying Stephano’s Italian beef pizza with tomatoes and I was incredibly shocked by how tasty this combo was! One, I’m not a meat lover when it comes to pizza. I prefer veggies. Two, I do not really eat Italian beef in the first place, but someone else suggested I try this combo, and WOW! The sweetness of the tomatoes mixed with Stephano’s amazing sauce to the savory salted beef was like when you make the perfect charcuterie board combination! An explosion of flavor! Every flavor is present all working at the same time to create a new taste and flavor you never had! Plus, i couldn’t even tell I was eating meat on a pizza! You have to try Italian beef and tomatoes at Stephanos! I highly doubt you will be disappointed in your choice to venture out and try this combo! Moved here from Chicago 5 months ago and have tried just about every pizza in NWI and I can safely say this is my favorite! This is the only thin crust that even comes close to all the good pizza we had in the city. It smells like heaven as soon as you walk in too. Sauce to cheese ratio is perfect.

Edit - I may take away one star for this eventually but hours are posted until 9pm (every day except Fridays & Saturdays which is until 10) and I swear they never answer the phone after 7:50pm lol just tried again right now and it was only 8:01pm with multiple phone call attempts. This happened 4 other nights I tried calling in the last two weeks. We’re settling for Pizza Hut because it’s close but pretty disappointed :( Hopefully it doesn’t...

This was my second time ordering from Stephano's. I have never been one to complain or write bad reviews anywhere but this was unacceptable. I had family in town and decided to order takeout. They had told us a 30 minute wait, we get there after 30 minutes and had to wait another 30 minutes for our food which was understandable I know kitchen can get backed up. When we got our food our appetizers were handed to us on top of the pizza. When we got home and opened the box, the cheese and toppings came up with the top of the box. I had tried calling and informing them and I kept getting sent to voicemail. I am a loyal customer to Rosatis in crown point and they always stay on top of customer satisfaction. Wont be ordering...
