Fajita Grill&Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Winfield

I was actually disappointed. I went there for lunch about a week ago after seeing the review rating was 4.3 stars. As soon as I walked in the door, the “chime” went off right over my head. It was blaring loud like an alarm. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant. The restaurant (and parking lot) appeared to be practically empty even though it was lunch hour (around 1:30). I was seated right away and my drink, chips and salsa arrived pretty quickly. The salsa was very thin like watery ketchup and wasn’t great. There weren’t alot of options on the lunch menu, so I ordered from the full menu. After placing my order I visited the ladies room and nearly lost my appetite for lunch. It appeared that someone’s digested lunch was left all over one of the stalls. My food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce (camarones de ajo?). Everything was hot, fresh and tasted good. This place is best kept secret for small town of winfield AlA. The menu had amazing options . Even had fries if you wanted it and chicken tenders which my son ordered. I order the baked potatoe with saute onions and peppers and chicken over potatoe with white cheese over it all. Let me tell you it was best food i every had . This place is worth the drive . It had plenty of room for parties . Even had a patio. But food is best i had anywhere. I loved that even.though their a mexican resturant . They do have other options . But best mexican food anywhere. Let me tell you it is worth the drive to winfield . It is across the street from Toc orthopedic center. Take your family friends go enjoy a ride to this place . When we got there we were escorted to two different tables as they were being cleaned off which we were fine with. Then the lady left. Lucky the menus were close so we grabbed them and sat on the edge considering the table and seats were wet and no one was nice enough to being a towel or napkin to clean off the seats so we could seat. Then after being there for at least 15 min. still no chips or waiter and new group comes in there are seated. The lady who kinda had us sit down came back and asked if anyone had took our order and we politely told her no. She left and we waited again for about another 20 min.
