Cafe Gelato & Boba Tea — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

This place is great! I went here for the first time today and everything was so good.

My boyfriend and I got mango gelato, lychee fruit tea with passion fruit boba, and peach fruit tea with mango boba. Frankly the mango gelato tastes more like a mango than an actual mango fruit. The lids for the boba cups are adorable with little hello kitty looking characters. Not to mention the paper straws, I'm all for biodegradable items.

The vibe in the store is wonderful as well. It has an old jukebox that plays classic rock that I absolutely adored. The artwork on the walls also has the same classic rock vibe and the lighting was immaculate. It was warm with a few neon lights.

The man working there was super nice and patent with us as we figured out our order. I don't know if he was the owner or not, I just assume so.

Payment was super accessible, they accept several kinds of online payment like Google pay and have a neat scanner that you just touch...

First I want to clear something up in case someone else sees the same review I saw. They do indeed have boba tea. My guess is the other reviewer went to Cafe Gelato on Reynolda Rd and got it confused with this one. This one sells Boba tea like the name says. The other doesn't.

As for the pricing I found it to be very fair. I got a small lemon gelato and had to share with my husband. I'm not a tiny person but come on America. Five large McDonald's size scoops does not a small make.

I found the "small" to be the perfect serving size even though it was still a little much for me. It was absolutely delicious. The perfect blend of tart and sweet. I can't wait to try the other flavors.

I've never had a boba tea but I'll definitely be trying it next time I go by.

One of my all time favorite spots to take my partner to get Boba tea. The flavors are all super yummy and a very nice selection of flavors too. The staff is always friendly and patient. Great place to go year round but especially when the weather gets extra hot in the summer. If you like to support local business and also get yourself a fun little treat look no further. The Gelato is also always top notch and shares the unique flavors and quality the boba tea does. Whenever I'm in the neighborhood and craving a nice refreshing drink, this is always a spot me and my partner and I go to without hesitation. My personal favorite is the banana milk tea which is a flavor I have not commonly seen at other boba tea shops but should be a staple as this one in specific always makes me so happy and so refreshed I could drink one every single...
