Update: June 2022- Located n the parking lot across from Food Lion on Hawthorne Rd. Eating inside is allowed now & they have a few tables outside as well. They r closed on Sundays & Mondays now. Eating inside isn't allowed @ the moment but they have take out available as well as a few picnic tables set up outside 2 sit down & get ur grub on. Due 2 COVID only 3 customers r allowed inside the restaurant@ any time. U must Kno if u r going 2 eat here that they ONLY accept cash! No checks! No cards! It is the only place I have ever heard of that is like this but it's been this way as long as I can remember! They have simple delicious food that they r able 2 prepare & get out 2 u quickly + everything is a fair & reasonable price as well. Today I got 3 dogs, 4 burgers, & 3 fries 4 my family's lunch & paid approx $30. I have never gotten over or undercooked food, my order has always been steaming hot when handed over 2 me + I have never experienced an issue w/ them getting my order wrong. So, if u r n the mood 4 a yummy hot dog, cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, fry, tater tot, etc & u happen 2 b near the Food Lion situated on the street that runs directly between both hospitals n Winston-Salem then go ahead & check out this...

I stopped here after seeing the reviews and it's not much to look at but it's clean and simple. It is a great place to get a chilli dog and hamburgers and you can make it a meal by adding the yummy tator tots or fries with chilli and cheese. And if you are looking for something sweet let them talk you into getting one of their pies they have at the register that they put on the grill and serve it hot. I get hungry just thinking about it lol.... I can't wait to go back! The people who work there make the experience perfect after getting the fantastically delicious simple food they are super nice and super helpful and they went out of their way to make my 1st experience there terrific. I would highly recommend going there if you want an inexpensive meal that...

This CASH ONLY business has some of the best Burgers in town. Thick hearty beef cooked on the flat grill that probably gives them that seasoned flavor of years of hot dogs & burgers being cooked on them. Make sure you get a side of their perfectly cooked fries, not too crunchy on outside and soft on inside. Only complaint I have is I need more fries! You would think their food would be overly greasy but it is not. You can get your items with what ever extras you want on them like pickles & onions. Free refills on your fountain drinks to wash it all down. The place is small with limited indoor seating and 3 picnic tables outside. Amble private parking so you have no excuse not to visit......just don’t forget the cash! Staff is always courteous...
