They need to get new customer service. My husband and i went for our first time and the young man at the cashier had no customer service skills, we weren’t greeted, my husband asked for a double bacon cheese burger MEAL just to find out after we paid that it doesn’t come with a drink. After we asked the gentleman if the meal came with a drink he said no and turned around, didn’t even ask us if we wanted to buy a drink, we had to basically tell him we wanted to buy a drink, once we buy the fountain drink NONE of the sodas were carbonated, we tried the sweet tea but it was watered down. Again we told him that the soda machine was not working and he didn’t say anything and went to the back, after approximately 5 minutes he comes back with a mop and bucket I asked “are they fixed” he said “oh I was supposed to check them “ goes back to the back and come back out 3 minutes later giving me the thumbs up, we tried the soda machine again and it still wasn’t fixed, so at this point my husband and and I are irritated and just asked him for a bottled drink being that we waited almost 10 minutes for a fountain drink, he didn’t apologize or even acknowledge the inconvenience. I got the roasted poblano wings which were flavorless and over cooked , my husband got a burger that he really enjoyed and it looked delicious. He even said if it wasn’t for the customer service he would definitely be back for another burger. We live in the west end area and just hate that we tried a local spot and it was ruined by the customer service. The young man had AirPods in the whole time and was on his phone. I will...
Read moreAs a fellow business owner, I’ve held off on leaving this review for about six months because I understand how important reviews are. But at this point, I have to speak on it.
The food here is consistently good—no complaints there. However, the service at the register is a whole different story. The two young ladies who usually take orders have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered—and I say that as a person of four daughters who knows attitude when I see it.
I try to give them grace because they’re young, but it's the same experience every time: no greeting, no smile, just “Are you ready to order?” like I’m bothering them. It feels rushed and uncomfortable from start to finish. I typically spend over $80 each visit, and while I’m waiting, I watch them treat other customers the same way—dismissive and rude.
Honestly, one of them must be related to the owner because I can’t imagine any business owner allowing that kind of energy to represent their brand. It reflects poorly, and it’s a shame because the food deserves better front-end service.
Every customer should be treated with basic respect—regardless of their appearance or social status. You never know who you’re serving. I’m not expecting over-the-top cheerfulness, but if you clearly don’t like your job, it might be time to move on.
From one business owner to another: the food is great, but you’ve got to hire better people. These two young ladies are hands down the rudest I’ve come across—and that’s...
Read moreWhen we eat at this restaurant, we often enjoy it, but it really depends on who is working. There is one worker (perhaps manager or owner), a Latino man who is very friendly and accommodating. When he is there, the service is great, and he seems to ensure that the product will be excellent, even though he likely is not preparing it. We have found that when the cashiers are young and apathetic, the service is horrible and this is often when we also notice problems with our food. There is a lot of inconsistency in the preparation of the bowls. Sometimes everything is perfect and it tastes amazing. Other times there is gobs of rice and very few veggies and protein. Sometimes the sauce is overwhelming, sometimes too sparse, (but at least in that case you can ask for more). Sometimes ingredients are wrong or missing. I would also appreciate being asked if I/we need chopsticks or disposable utensils before putting them on the tray or packing them into a to-go bag in order to conserve resources. We often choose to eat with the metal fork or use our own utensils at home so that we don't make more garbage. I worry that once the chopsticks have gone out to a table, they will get thrown out even if they have...
