My first Bed & Breakfast experience at Summit Inns in Winston-Salem @wshistoricinns was pure magic! From the exceptionally clean, spacious room with fresh flowers and a church view, to that glorious clawfoot tub – every detail was pure perfection. Breakfast was a delight, with options from a continental spread at the main house to a hot meal at the historic Shaffner Inn (once owned by Wachovia bank executive). Their common spaces and daily social hour truly make it feel like a home away from home. The properties are stunning, and each room is so unique! This is definitely going on my “must-revisit” list! #hosted Fun Fact: The end of Summit Street in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is home to a beautifully restored historic property known as the Summit Street Inns. I'm especially here for those stunning claw-foot tubs! If you need a perfect location for your next North Carolina holiday, this is it. It's more than a stay—it's an experience. Fun Fact: Did you know that the claw-foot tub was first introduced in the mid-18th century and was a luxury item? They were originally made from cast iron and lined with porcelain.
