Read moreThis is only an important situation because I literally performed a Google search for quiche in Winston Salem. I visited a spot yesterday that served quiche with a gluten-free crust. It was OK. But I realized that when you warm the quiche (instead of consuming it fresh baked), there are a certain number of retries that go with it. But, usually, if there is a redo, they give you a fresh slice.
Which brings me to The Remedy.
I ordered a quiche. I took the first bite and found the quiche warm, but not piping hot. The next bite I took, however, I spit out and put on the plate. I went back to the cash register and told them that the quiche was not warmed all the way through. They took the plate, warmed it, and returned the original slice of quicheâŚwith my spit up. I also chose a 'springtime favorite' called Indigo Punch iced tea. 'Twas also good. The atmosphere/vibe is wonderful, soft music playing overhead and light chatter of those studying in groups with their laptops. The seating is fairly limited for such a popular place, but it has many options: Couch, furbished chairs, table with cute wooden chairs, bar seating, high tops, etc. I will...
