The Remedy is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking coffee shops in North Carolina. Nestled in Winston Salem, it's a sanctuary where every visit feels like stepping into a dream, especially in the afternoon when the ethereal lighting bathes the space in warmth and charm.

From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism from the staff, who not only remember your favorite drinks but also go above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience. Kudos to the management for maintaining such high standards of service.

Rumor has it that the owner is just as incredible as the establishment itself, adding a personal touch that sets The Remedy apart from the rest. Whether you're here for a casual coffee catch-up, a productive study session, or even a drink (yes, they serve alcohol!), The Remedy caters to all your needs.

The menu offers a delightful selection of treats, from mouthwatering flatbreads and quiches to delectable cookies that pair perfectly with your beverage of choice. And if you're looking for a more intimate space, the upstairs loft provides the perfect setting for larger meetings or a peaceful study session away from the hustle and bustle below.

But what truly sets The Remedy apart is its exquisite design and architecture. Every corner exudes sophistication and style, making it not just a coffee shop but a work of art. Whether you're admiring the sleek interior design or marveling at the intricate architectural details, The Remedy is a feast for the eyes.

In conclusion, if you're in search of a one-of-a-kind coffee shop experience in North Carolina, look no further than The Remedy. With its impeccable service, inviting ambiance, and unparalleled design, it's a haven for coffee lovers, professionals, and creatives alike. Visit today and discover why The Remedy is a hidden gem worth exploring...

This is only an important situation because I literally performed a Google search for quiche in Winston Salem. I visited a spot yesterday that served quiche with a gluten-free crust. It was OK. But I realized that when you warm the quiche (instead of consuming it fresh baked), there are a certain number of retries that go with it. But, usually, if there is a redo, they give you a fresh slice.

Which brings me to The Remedy.

I ordered a quiche. I took the first bite and found the quiche warm, but not piping hot. The next bite I took, however, I spit out and put on the plate. I went back to the cash register and told them that the quiche was not warmed all the way through. They took the plate, warmed it, and returned the original slice of quiche…with my spit up. They reheated all of it. 😳

I’m pretty sure that’s a violation of health codes. But it’s also a lesson for me. From this day forward I will only purchase coffee at these coffee shops. I will avoid menu items that require anything other than being put on a plate and slid across...

Arriving an hour or two after opening, there was street parking still available; I am unsure if I would be able to find other parking nearby if I had come later. The words that first come to mind as I review this place: OMG the quiche!!!! Forget any of your trepidation... It is delicious and you will never need a knife to even eat the crust; It is as easy to eat as it is delicious (I chose broccoli and cheese). The latte was delicious, but as an avid Starbucks fan, I needed to add sugar at the coffee bar (I can barely remember the days in which I drank straight espresso). I also chose a 'springtime favorite' called Indigo Punch iced tea. 'Twas also good. The atmosphere/vibe is wonderful, soft music playing overhead and light chatter of those studying in groups with their laptops. The seating is fairly limited for such a popular place, but it has many options: Couch, furbished chairs, table with cute wooden chairs, bar seating, high tops, etc. I will...

5 stars all around, a little bit on the expensive side (no more than Starbucks!) but you can expect that from great atmosphere and independent coffee shop! The Fromage flatbread is delicious!

We were exploring Winston-Salem when we made our way to West End. As soon as I walked into The Remedy Cafe & Bar I was greeted by Natalie, she is a sweetheart. I wasn’t sure where we were going to eat and she was so kind with suggestions as well as telling me about their pizza (it is a cafe, after all). Will have to try them next time. I had a taste of the coffee while looking around and it was good. I asked about where they source from & they told me they get it from Adrift in Wilmington. My husband later came back for a cold brew. Remedy Cafe has a very relaxing atmosphere. I noticed a few women that were devouring a charcuterie board. It looked so good. They kindly let me take a pic. This place is so cute with the books & the fireplace. I went upstairs to explore. Adorable! Check them out the next time you’re in the area. Enjoy ☕️
