Burger King — Restaurant in Winter Garden

I like Burger King, and this one is usually one of the decent ones, the manager is really nice, and the staff don't usually mess things up. Usually when I go to this Burger King, I get a couple orders of their 10pc nuggets for $1.00, which are pretty good for cheap nuggets. A lot of the times that I go, I have to pull into a spot while they make the nuggets for one reason or another, which doesn't bother me because that means they're fresh. Despite the great service during the day, my experience this morning is what compelled me to write this review. Keep in mind that this a 24 hour location, that is open all night and starts breakfast early in the morning, I'm guessing at 6(for reasons that will become clear). I showed up at 6am to this location's drive thru (maybe up to 2 minutes before or after 6), and I asked for my usual order of chicken nuggets, and was met with the dreaded "I'm sorry we're only serving breakfast," which I was somewhat expecting anyway, so I asked what was on the breakfast menu (as I am not well acquainted with it) and like many other fast food places, they hadn't changed the menu boards around to breakfast yet, so I waited for them to do that. Waiting on them to do their job doesn't bother me because I know it can be hard sometimes so I like to give them a little credit. So after they change the menu around I asked for one of the biscuit sandwiches from the value menu and apparently they're out of biscuits, none in the whole store, as the drive thru attendant said. So I look around the menu some more and find that almost all of the value menu items are biscuit sandwiches. The attendant said they have the croissant sandwiches (which were all 3-4 times as much money). So I spend a minute looking over the board and looking at the slideshow that plays on the ordering screen. And I see on the slideshow that it has a picture of half a burger and half of a croissant sandwich and a sidebar that says "burgers for breakfast" and I thought, "oh that'd be great" so I asked if they had burgers and they said no. I was confused at this point because the sign said burgers for breakfast, but I could not, in fact, get a burger for breakfast. So I asked "well why does the sign say burgers for breakfast on it?" and instead of explaining it to me because I didn't understand, they simply turned off the microphone. I waited about minute and didn't hear anything else . So I went across the street to McDonald's, which I normally would never do, but they actually had biscuits, so I got what I was looking for. As I was sitting down to write this review I realized that the "burgers for breakfast" sign was calling the croissant sandwich "the burgers of the breakfast world" and not actually saying you could have burgers for breakfast, and I really wish the attendant would have explained that to me instead of just muting the microphone... Because I still would have rather had Burger King in place of McDonald's. Overall this is a good Burger King, but not perfect. Also they run out of BBQ...

Get the bulldozer, you can knock the building down and rebuild it over and over but until someone fixes the attitude and the service and food quality it will never get better reviews. Food was mashed into bag, cold and some inedible. Promo wasn’t available but still got charged the extra money, then when waited for drinks for almost 10 minutes while at least 6-8 others had to have thier order corrected, asked to speak to a manager and was given and attitude by kid on his first day and then was told to calm down while he tried to find a manager, are you kidding big time rookie mistake to wrong person. Manager wasn’t much more help didn’t seem to know what to do or what was going on even though he was only one running register while rest of crew pretty much looked on or slapped together food and stuffed in a bag. Manager told me he couldn’t do anything because I ordered on app so had to deal with that on my own (which convienently doesn’t work or stopped working for a complaint). So at least half of that $50 order got tossed in trash where it belonged when I got home and rest partially eaten and then tossed because gross. So thanks for wasting my time and money but educating me not to ever even look at that building again much less attempt to eat there. I also found it very funny that as I walked to my car in lot 2 separate other customers asked me if it was any better since reopening I said no not at all and they shook their heads and turned around and left. I was excited to try the brand new remodel of this BK location. I went during their first few days back and I was right away impressed by the new double lane drive through. Except I was quickly disappointed because this slows down the line immensely and they don’t even take the orders from each line as they should. Anyways, I ordered my meal with the side of onion ring and impossible whopper with cheese. Upon receiving my meal, I got fries instead of onion rings and no cheese on my burger. OK, mistakes happen no big deal. I returned again today and ordered the same thing. This time the lady in the drive though asked if I wanted zesty sauce with my onion rings to which i said yes! I also specifically asked for no tomato, mayo, or onion on the sandwich. Again, upon receiving my order I was at first satisfied to have finally gotten my onion rings, but to my disdain, did not have the zesty sauce. This confused me as she went out of her way to ask me if I wanted it, and then didn’t provide it. Again, I thought “OK, mistakes happen, the sauce is easy to forget” and I began to eat my meal. To my disappointment, the sandwich still had all the toppings I had asked to remove, but did add the cheese. Per the photo, you can see all the toppings I asked to remove, plus cheese, and zesty sauce are all on the ticket, but they didn’t read it? It’s like they only read the cheese part. Very disappointing and frustrating. I did not end up eating this sandwich. Waste of money. Very strange how the outside is sparkling and beautiful, but the staff...
