A lot of potential wasted...ruined by the grossly mismanaged staff. I've visited this Culver's in Winter Garden 3 times now because I like to give things a chance. The 1st visit at the Grand Opening was slow, but to be expected.
On BOTH the second and third visits, our order was either lost or disposed of. On the second visit, we waited 20 minutes at our table (table marker # being clearly visible) and one of the girls who bring out the food didn't apparently didn't "see" it? Okay, mistakes happen, but the 3rd visit was inexcusable, because the same thing happened TWICE on the same visit.
The manager apologized and told the kitchen to put a rush on our order at which point I went and sat back down and waited another 15 minutes. I confronted the manager again and his eyes got big and then he said one of the girls had just thrown it out because they couldn't "find" us in the restaurant...AGAIN.
I politely bit my tongue and just had him give us a refund at that point. He also gave us free coupons for our next visit, but honestly, this was such a debacle and a mismanaged joke...the restaurant was only at about 75% capacity. I gave the coupons to a family sitting outside. We will NEVER return.
This is honestly the worst managed restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life because I never write "reviews"...but this story had to be told. Since the food quality is nothing to die for, there are much better options in Winter Garden to choose from. "Losing orders" is something they apparently do quite often from the other stories I've been hearing.
These young girls running around the place completely clueless and mis-trained is what's doing them in. Be sure to avoid this place and save yourself the trouble of what is certain to be a...
Read moreMan, this place was always my favorite to grab these yummy butter burgers and sides! Today, not such a good day! The wait time was not too bad, but...they forgot my 2 plain cheeseburgers (treat for the Doggo). Had to drive around and get back in line (because who doesnt go for takeout in jammies?!) and then tell them they forgot my burgers. 15 mins wait time plus the drive round the building, still not bad. Drive all the way home, 7.6 miles roughly 20 minutes with traffic. This is where they truly disappointed me. The onion rings were definitely overcooked, hard, super crunchy but still on the tasty side, even though my teeth probably felt like they were being sanded down. My beloved MUSHROOM and SWISS sammich that I sometimes dream about...I was wrecked!! I picked it up and it was feeling kinda on the dry side, no mushroom juice running down the sides of the bun. Ripped it apart and to my horror, NO MUSHROOMS!!! What kind of monster makes a MUSHROOM and SWISS burger and leaves off HALF of the sammich??!! Listen Kids, when I tell you that I begrudgingly ate it, it was more or less because I was starving and not wanting to make another round trip of close to an hour to get a new burger and onion rings. Now I am sad because I lost trust in my Favorite Culvers and will now have to drive to the closer one by Millenia. I can totally understand the rush of working in fast food but from my side as a customer, paying $39 for forgotten items and then wrongly made items is a bit off putting. Dont worry, I will most likely be back, that trip to Millenia is a killer...
Read moreI had the worst experience yesterday afternoon and was debating on whether or not to post this Google review. I always visit this location, and have never had this kind of interaction before. Instead of going inside which I normally do, I decided to go through the drive thru. When I pulled up to the speaker the young girl taking the orders did not greet me, instead she said “you can order when you’re ready” that threw me off. No hello, no hi how you doing. I continued to order and she liked to interrupt me quite a bit, as if she was too busy with entertaining people around her. I let it go, pulled to the window to pay and was not greeted at all. Just a teenager girl having a non related work conversation with a fellow coworker. She took my card, without telling me my total and shoved my drinks in my hand and shooed me out of the drive thru to wait for my food around the building. After waiting about 5 minutes my food was brought to me and of course it was missing an item. I had to drive back through the drive thru, and yet again greeted the same way through the speaker with “order when you’re ready”. Honestly I get we all have bad days, I myself was exhausted heading home from a 10 hour shift, but that is no excuse to treat anyone that way considering they are the reason you have a job. Totally unacceptable, and the manager needs to take her out of that position if they think she’s good enough to still be employed. Will I be going back? Yeah, eventually but as of right now, absolutely not. Food was okay, the burgers where smushed and the chili seemed old. Very...
