Nails and Lash Garden — Local services in Winter Garden

I really wanted to love this place. It's clean and very pretty but unfortunately my experience wasn't the one. I've never had such a sterile/stale experience that I paid for. I was told to pick any seat I wanted to start my experience and those seats are beautiful! Once seated I never got a greeting, "Hi, welcome", really anything. The tech came over and just started setting up. She pointed and gave me a book to pick my color, still no "Hi" or anything. It was strange to say the least. It continued and as she began cutting my nails, I wasn't asked how I liked them, so I spoke up. The pedicure itself was fine, the strangest part was the lack of hospitality. It was my first time there-they never would have known. I was really looking forward to this experience after a long day. At the end, she walked away and left me sitting. I've been to enough salons to know my nails had to dry and what the process was, but still, it was weird not to say "thank you, bye" or anything. She never came back so I flagged someone down who told me I could just go up and pay. As I went to pay and the "tip" section came up, I stopped. The pedicure was fine, but the overall experience was non-existent, what do I do. I did tip and left. The gal checking me out did notice something was off and asked me, and I was honest with her. She didn't look surprised, and said my manager is all about customer service, which I found so strange since I didn't receive any. Maybe it was a bad day, we all have them and I give Grace more than most. And the other reviews were glowing-which is the reason I came. I’ve been looking for a new nail establishment since 2020. I’ve hopped around to a couple different local and not so local places settling on one place but my last visit my nails were mediocre at best so decided to go on the hunt for another place. I was coming out of a store and these two lovely ladies walked up handed me a flyer for their grand opening. Today I decided to try them out. Let me tell you not disappointed in the least!!! I got a mani pedi service was in and out give take within an hour and a half. Which I don’t mind. I would rather have the tech take their time do an amazing job which he did BTW instead of rushing through just to turn over clients. I will tip you more for providing an excellent quality over quantity service than rushing me in and out. My French mani dip was not thick which I despise and my nails didn’t look like they were leaning in different directions which I again despise. My natural nail is not on crooked and doesn’t lean like the tower of Pisa. The place was very clean bathroom to work stations to pedi chairs. I also left behind my flyer that had a coupon attached to it the gentleman at the desk who welcomed me in and checked me out told me not to worry to bring it in next service. Worst pedicure experience ever. Very poor service and rudeness from the owners. Today I tried this place out for the first time. I asked for a classic pedicure and they sat me down with a guy who obviously had little to no experience. He just didn't know what he was doing. He didn't file my nails, he didn't remove the cuticles, didn't remove the plantar callus and did not use the hot towels included in the pedicure I asked for. At the time of applying the nail polish he did not remove the cream, and of course the polish would not adhere and was splotchy and uneven. It was a complete and utter mess. It looked like a 3 year old did my pedicure. When I asked to talk with the manager, he came and never apologized to me for the inconvenience, which I thought was very rude. Finally, he offered to start over with another technician to which I agreed. She had to redo everything the other guy didn't do. My experience was much better from this point. I'm not ever going back there. I never give reviews, but the whole situation angered and disappointed me so much that I had to. The only thing I wanted was some relaxing "me time" and a nice experience. Didn't happen....
