Scenic spot with limited options, but worth the stop

Bars on the mountain are few and far between, so this spot stands out more for its location than its variety. The menu is pretty limited—mainly beer, wings, and a few sides—but what they do have is done well enough. The wings were definitely on the small side, but they were flavorful and cooked just right. I’m usually not into waffle fries, but these were crispy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly enjoyable.

The real draw here is the view. If you’re lucky enough to grab a table that faces the mountains on a clear day, it totally elevates the experience. Sitting back with a cold beer and a view like that makes the limited food options feel like a minor detail. It’s the kind of place where the vibe carries the value.

Went to enjoy a beer after my husband skied today... the bar itself is nice with a great view of the skiers, but what really made my experience relaxing at the bar was the wonderful server we had! He first made fun of my love of Shiner beer and Texas😠, but he made me laugh and have fun! That's what you come for! But it was his personal attention to us that made all the difference!! Was expecting way more for the amount we spent here. To start off the hostess seemed bothered that we were even there and when I asked to sit inside she was not super helpful. We received no menu and no eating utensils. Not sure what the point in having a hostess is. The waiter was very friendly, but the service was extremely slow. I ordered a hot beverage that was delivered room temp, the cauliflower appetizer was delicious though! The burger was fine and we got the skillet cookie which was a total disappointment for the price. It was just a store-bought cookie not even warm with ice cream on top.
