Wafflehead Ice Cream and Coffee — Restaurant in Florida

Perfect spot for a date night with Kombu right next door and some tasty ice cream with fresh waffle bowls for dessert! I got the mint chocolate chip, and my wife got the cookie monster, and both were perfectly delicious! We both got the waffle heads as a "cone" as well, and I wasn't sure what to expect with them, but I'm pleased to say they were lightly crispy on the outside, and SOFT on the inside. And dense. It was surprisingly really good. And even though the heads weren't made to order (he had two prepped already), they were still wonderfully warm which was a really nice contrast to the ice cream (and didn't melt it either!). Next time I definitely want to try the bubble waffle since those are made to order, and there will definitely be a next time. I also got a small latte after finishing my treat, and if you enjoy closing out a date night with a coffee, I'd recommend it. Very high quality espresso and reminded me of lattes from small mom and pop boutique coffee shops which are always my favorite. They had some flavors for the coffee, but I'm honestly not sure the variety since I prefer mine straight, but I'm sure they're all just as good as everything else at the store. Long story short, I highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back...

Wish I could provide a higher rating. Would do 2.5 if able as one of the two employees was very friendly.

The place is cute for what it is and I was excited to see it come into place only to find it is pretty EXPENSIVE with portion sizes being very small. Went in and got a single scoop that seemed like a child size with one topping added for over $5 and a milkshake for $7 that ended up being mostly milk. Literally liquid with no thickness. Not sure how they expect to make a decent milkshake that doesn’t end up as a watered down mess with a single child size scoop of icecream. For what they charge (you’d expect it to be made in house) and the amount provided - we will not be returning nor referring others. In turn, we will be going to a cheaper competitor with better portions for the price. Best of luck...
