Chuy’s is hands-down one of the best places to enjoy fresh, flavorful Tex-Mex! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is fun, lively, and welcoming. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick to make you feel right at home.

The food is absolutely delicious—everything tastes homemade, from the warm tortillas to the amazing sauces and dips (the creamy jalapeño is a must-try!). Portions are generous, and you always leave full and happy, sometimes with leftovers for the next day. Their fajitas, burritos, and enchiladas are packed with flavor, and the margaritas are perfectly refreshing.

Maybe i'm spoiled living in the bay area where there is so much really good Mexican cuisine but i was a little disappointed.

First off, it was kind of pricey. It was ~75.00 for a family of 4 and my youngest usually splits a plate with mama bear.

Secondly, I ordered a 3 taco plate and thankfully they put salsa on my tacos because the Al Pastor was hard. They beans and rice were just ok too, a little on the bland side.

Luckily I had a michelada to wash it all down lol.

In closing, I'm sure this place is a big hit with the locals and the location and outdoor patio is great but I just don't see me coming back.

We had Chuys cater a birthday party in Davis California for. 70 people. Alex was very very easy to work with. They brought a taco bar and cooked tacos, burritos quesadillas as our guests requested. They served rice and beans and had a topping table so guests could add their own guacamole, onions and peppers. The food was excellent quality. We had chicken and Carnitas. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. Chuys arrived on time. They provided us with the leftovers wrapped in foil and left the cooking area immaculate. I would have them...
