Roma Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Winthrop Harbor

I have always been a fan of Roma, growing up in the Harbor I've eaten it too many times to count over many years. However the last two pizzas I have gotten we're lackluster. The dough was super thick and unappealing (and I always get the same reg crust) I called because it wasn't good and they basically said that's how the crust is. If I wanted thin I should've asked for thin. But I always order the reg and never had that issue. But not one to argue I just said ok. And just let it go. Neither of us finished the pizza (a first for us lol) anyway the next time we ordered I said I wanted a thin...thinking something had changed so better be safe this time. I no longer live in the harbor..I live in Racine and drive there to get a pizza and I should've opened it.. but didn't want it to get cold.. so when I finally get back home..it was pitiful. So paper thin, and burned..it was absolutely garbage. Guess I won't be driving back...

Let me start this off by saying I LOVE Roma's. There have been times that I have ordered from them multiple times a week and at the very least I have ordered from them multiple times a month between my dad's house and mine. Today I ordered wings online (which I have done multiple times before,) in the special request section I asked for 'extra crispy if possible.' The wings arrived extra crispy for sure, but with no sauce at all. I called to let them know and they said I ordered them that way, which was not the case. On their online ordering, there is no option to select 'plain' wings that I have ever seen. Only the option to choose ranch or blue cheese dressing. I advised them of this and that something might be wrong with their online ordering site. They argued with me which is what really is what aggravated me. What happened to the customer is always right? Apologize and research your good customer's complaint. Big...

I have been a Roma customer for 10+ years, but I have to say that lately things have been extremely different and I will not be buying from them again. They have new staff who are extremely rude. The girl who answers the phone it’s a witch with capital B. I can get past that as I don’t tend to take things personal, but what I am extremely unhappy about is that they are burning the food, not putting the same amount of ingredients they used to and charging more!!. The last two times I have ordered from them I have asked for extra cheese. I have paid for it yet I got less cheese both times. As a matter of fact, both times there was so much sauce you could barely see any cheese. I don’t know what is going on in there but they lost us as customers.
