I don’t have any problems with this place, the food they serve is great & the employees are great. I heard that they are moving across the street to where Linda’s restaurant used to be. I’m happy for the opportunity that they were given, but I’m a little concern about it. I think they’re biting off more than they can chew. The previous owners of the restaurant that was across the street from the sweet stop called Linda’s had completely wrecked the place. I actually happened to run into one of the employees during one of their days off & asked their opinions on it who I will be not mentioning their name. They said they’re a little concerned about the whole thing since the sweet stop was supposed to get a loan to cover some of the damages that was done by former Linda employees… but the problem is that the owners of the shop never got the loan. They said that the boss & the boss’s daughter are sometimes arguing with each other in back about how some things should be done a certain way which makes in frustrating to work in the back & make the atmosphere uncomfortable. Also they are limited on employees working there which makes it more concerning if they are hiring the right people or gonna hire if they move across the street. I noticed that the boss hired a certain individual back that other employees had problems (& customers including myself had problems with) working with due that individual just not remembering, spacing out, or just not doing their job right even though the individual been there over a YEAR. The employee that I talked to said that they’re getting to a point where they don’t wanna work there anymore & probably go & find somewhere else to work at. It’s seems that the business is trying to do a bakery & restaurant at the same time when they move across the street which is another problem that the employee has. Even I find it impossible yet a mind cluster for the business to do due to with a few of the reasons stated by one of their employees.
Again, I don’t have any problems with the shop. I’m just concern that they are trying to take up more than they should be doing if they are moving across the...

First time customer! We will be back! I had the build your own sandwich, I could hardly fitted in my mouth to bite. It was delicious! The pasta salad was fantastic, my wife's dietary plate was delicious, her coffee was just right, her salad was so good she even ate the croutons which she never does! We have to get there for the prime rib, and, Cindy is moving across the street to the old Linda's restaurant. That in itself is exciting. I can't wait to see that menu! The current location is going to stay open as just a bakery. I'm totally serious, if you haven't been, you've got to go! I just finished my red velvet cupcake, and🧁 I really don't like red velvet, but this is going to be my new favorite without a doubt. I need to try and get there for breakfast, that looked extremely good but we were at the cancer center and, we didn't get out in time. You've got to go, I've reviewed a lot of places, and this is absolutely top tier 3%. It's kind of like the old European cafes, come in, good conversation, good food, and good friends. They are familia, tiamo...
Read moreI use to think that this was a great neighborhood spot to go to for something sweet or a easy meal for dinner. Today. I am totally saddened to hear from my husband how he was racially profiled by the owner of this establishment. He came in to order lunch because he goes there every now and again and as he was waiting for his food. The owner who was talking with other customers decided to get up out of the blue and go grab her tip jar. I don't care if this was just bad timing or not it seemed racist. My husband nor I will ever come to this establishment again for ANYTHING and any other African American shouldn't either. Next time don't...
