Ok, first let me explain that when my significant other and I went, it was a SOFT OPENING. That means, they were still serving from the 'Sweet Stop' menu and working out the layout, serving stations, etc. The only reason "food" was given four stars was because they were not serving from the actual menu, as of yet.
With that being said, I found the ambience to be very nice and very warm and welcoming. It was very clean and the servers and the staff we're very kind.
I forgot to take pictures before we ate most of the food 😬, but I'll include what I did take.
We had a simple lunch of Maxwell Polish with side of chili (DELISH, BTW); toasted Italian sub (the bread with fresh and very soft); I ordered the chicken with rice soup but was served cream of broccoli by mistake (but it was a happy mistake 😋) and potato chips (I'm not sure, but they taste like they are freshly made there 🤗...yum)
Again, as I mentioned before this was just a soft opening. We got a glance at their menu (looks like good family-style yummy goodness) and am looking forward to update this review once I'm able to experience the 'Wild...

This is the sister store to the bakery across the street. I'll tell you, I love their cooking. I saw they were open, I went in and got a smash burger with the shoe string french fries. So crispy and flavorful, and not greasy. And a side salad. The service was fantastic as always. And I appreciate the hard work that these owners put in to make the place serviceable again. I would recommend them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course the fish fry! Sundays are hectic because part of the restaurant is not open yet, and everyone tries to get in there first, lol! And the reason they try to get in there, is because the food is fantastic. The owner knows her stuff, she knows how to bake. When the game room opens up, and the extra dining room, they'll be plenty of space, but I would still get there early. Very reasonably priced, I have no complaints whatsoever. Bathrooms are spotless, the entire restaurant was spotless. It's very refreshing. It was sort of a Western coastal motif, like a harbor eatery....
Read moreI don't like to say negative things about a small local business but feedback is important and hopefully with some training and procedural changes, this restaurant can improve. FOOD: My sandwich was good, but the potato chips were mostly the bottom of the bag broken pieces. The other person in my party has scrambled eggs, they were a bit rubbery. The fried potatoes were good. The soup was over seasoned (peppery). SERVICE: It was really poor. It took an hour to get served. It took 20 minutes to have the waitress take our order, We had to request the basics like silverware and straws. The waitress needs to be coach on how to talk customers. we heard the response "No Problem" many times and "I'll get to it" when asking for the bill. No one checked in for refills or how the food was. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is decorated nice but there was a problem with flies both house flies and fruit flies. It was nasty. The men's room was a bit of mess too with a sticky door handles and an...
