I've lived in Rapids for 2.5 years and go through the drive-thru at least once a week. I've had fantastic service every single time. Even when they're so busy the line of cars is out to the street, the baristas are pleasant and friendly, and the line moves pretty fast. The coffee and chai are always delicious, and Cravings keeps the coffee menu interesting with a constant rotation of seasonal and holiday flavors. This is my favorite drive-thru coffee spot in Rapids, hands down.
Cravings recently become one of my favorite work spots, too. Until this winter, I'd never gone inside -- I'm not sure why, maybe just because it looks so small/cramped from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally went in one afternoon. It's a lot bigger than it looks with two different levels, several rooms, and lots of little corners to hunker down in. The WiFi is strong and reliable, and the staff is friendly even if you hang out for 4 or 5 hours at a time, nursing a coffee while you work. The ambience is nice, and there's a lot of variety in the clientele -- people having business meetings, teenagers doing homework after school, retired people, folks like me who are working remotely. It's a great spot for all...
Read moreI have always enjoyed this local coffee shop until today. For Valentineâs Day (one-week today to date) my husband purchased a Corkcicle Cup as a gift. A few days ago, I noticed a spot on the top rim. At first, I thought it was from not hand-washing it well enough but it kept coming back - it is rust. I took the cup back into the store today and the lady at the counter was very confused on how to handle the situation, kept telling me that Corkcicle is not going to refund her - she asked me âwhat am I going to do with the cupâ, I replied âI donât knowâ. She directed me to the Corkcicle website for warrantyâs assuring me they would handle it (great assurance since she was unsure that they would help her). I think that the store should have replaced this $30+ cup that is just a week old, clearly defective and taken it up with the company. Very disappointed - I left feeling like I did something wrong.. I wonât buy anymore merchandise at the shop ever again. :( Now...
Read moreI was visiting family and was taken to this place. They sell coffee, teas and wine and baked goods. It was a house that was converted to a business and it's a nice cozy little jem in Wisconsin Rapids. My sister took me there as there is no Starbucks there and it's one of her favorite places. We both got the Chai Tea and it was very good. The decor is whimsical and suits this place as the have related coffee, tea, and wine products. They have tables and a cozy coffee table that makes it like your in a living room. We enjoyed our drinks there and i found very comfortable and inviting. If your in the area I suggest you stop on by and...
