I went with a friend quarter to 5pm on a Saturday, expecting them to be somewhat busy, but for the two hours we were in there for nobody showed up, we found out why when we got the food. The service is nice, although it took a while for the food to come out, the two friendly staff make up for it. Around 5:30 we good the food, now we dined in so we were expecting plates but were given take out boxes, which was very disappointing, we open them up and the portions looked fair and the food looked somewhat good given the condition It came in. I had a platter and my few fries were tasty but cold, the little salad was tiny onions with few pieces of lettuce, as for the rice, you can definitely tell it was not fresh given it was kind of cold and hard. The chili chicken was warm but had too much tomato to the point where that all I can taste is tomato paste. Overall the dish felt more homemade, but not in a good way, meaning it lacked a professional touch to it like balance and the ratio of things. My friend disliked her dish even more than I. Overall it was disappointing, especially after being deceived by the reviews.
Reply: It says on your website that it is both a DINE in and takeout restaurant, so maybe change that. Also I was checked on once when I received the food, I can’t tell how it tastes if I haven’t tried it yet…. Also it was less us liking the food but rather it not being made right, if we were asked after we tasted the food, it wouldn’t have made a difference because we were not willing to waste another 45 minutes for what MIGHT be a better dish. I said the service was good because the people were sweet but that’s IT nothing exceptional. I am also not required to share my opinion with anybody, especially when both workers were mostly back in the kitchen. Thank...
Read moreThe menu is a mixed bag and a little strange but we thought we would give it a go. First impression was made when there was nobody to greet inside and we were left wondering if we had to use the self service tablets. After a min or so a guy poked his head out from the back as we were reading the paper menus out on the counter. I am unsure if this was just a bad day to visit but we had a strong sense this guy doesn't normally work out front. There were definitely communication issues that were not resolved by speaking a more comfortable language. I had a shawarma chicken platter which was not in a pita/wrap as I was lead to believe. The platter was tasty though possibly over seasoned and with many large chunks of gristle/cartilage. My wife had the pastrami hero which they made for her hot but may come cold otherwise. The pastrami was pretty smokey and didn't really give the pastrami flavor over the smoke. We also had the Italian fries which were just dry seasoned french fries with an aoli dip on the side. They didn't feel "Italian" at all.
Update/reply:
Clearly based on your response you do not care about the customer experience. My reviews are my honest opinion. You have a counter, perhaps you should remove it if not used. Maybe you should say orders must be made on tablet despite possible customer questions as I had. You do not even offer a visual display of what is being offered (menu with pictures?). Speaking of reviews, one might assume all yours are fake or paid for.
Note: Looks like the hostile reply has been removed. Wouldn't be surprised if they put a...

The service was exceptional—quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. The menu boasts a range of comfort food staples, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Their burgers are mouth-wateringly good, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy and golden, a perfect complement to the burgers.
The standout for us, however, was the fish tacos. They’re nothing short of phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and bursting with the perfect blend of textures and seasonings. If you’re in the area, they are an absolute must-try.
Despite feeding a large family, the service remained quick and seamless, and the portions were generous. Hungerco Burgers has mastered the art of combining great food with a cozy, family-friendly ambiance. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts.
