Subway ( Outside Of Walmart) — Restaurant in Wood River

I went in with a coupon, 2 footlongs for 12.99, my first sandwich choice was the steak and cheese, i was informed the steak and cheese was not available with the coupon, so i ordered an all American club and a meatball sandwich, when the employee rang up the sandwiches it came to 16 dollars and some change, i asked her about the additional charge she said the all American club was not available for the coupon price, (which she should have mentioned up front like she did with the steak and cheese) she would have to ring it up as a turkey and cheese plus bacon, she pointed at a man behind the counter with her and said you can talk to him about it, i was on my lunch break i didn't have time to negotiate a price for my lunch, i left the sandwiches on the counter and walked out, so instead of making 12.99 they made nothing, if you are not going to honor coupons you need to put a large sign up. You would think they would be happy selling 2 footlongs for 12.99, instead they lost a customer over 2 dollars. Easily the best Subway I have frequented in the greater St. Louis area, or further. I don’t remember eating Subway out of state but If I did I doubt it was as impressive as this Subway store consistently is. The service here is always Swift and accurate. The food is always prepared carefully and the end result is ideal. Advertisement quality sandwiches every damn time. 3 out of 3 times now when my family orders subway through door dash the order clearly shows to toast the subs. All 3 times now the subs show up soft and un toasted. I’m guessing to save them time.
