I was contemplating on to write a review or not because I was genuinely happy to finally see a Bangladeshi establishment closer to home in the heart of Edison. My husband and I with our baby came to the establishment during iftar hours without a reservation as a walk-in. We clearly stated as soon as we entered that we were not on their reservation to the server & wanted to find out if we can still sit and join the buffet since we saw there was one. We waited politely until we were told that yes we can go ahead and join the buffet, my husband grabbed a plate & soon after I went to grab one, as I am in the middle of taking food, I see a lady possibly speaking to the owner right next to me stating she has a party of 35 and she thinks food won’t be enough because people without reservation are eating them. The owner could have taken this conversation elsewhere maybe behind the counter but he jumps in to ask me if I had a reservation, making me almost feel like I am stealing food from their buffet. How disrespectful & insulting does that sound? He then apologized to me to say that there was miscommunication after I stated that we only joined the buffet after getting a go ahead from his servers. He goes we can make you another plate, no you can’t not in front of 40 other guests who just witnessed this embarrassment. My husband and I were so embarrassed that we didn’t grab another plate of food from the buffet, none of us were full but we paid $25/person for the buffet without a buzz. I really want to give this place another chance assuming they will take this review seriously & fix their service because the food was really good, yes it was authentic Bangladeshi but yes I am so disappointed the way my first experience at...

Read moreI ordered through Uber Eats and also visited the restaurant last week. I ordered sukto, mutton kosha, begun bhaja and payesh. Everything was good, nothing out of the world, but good nonetheless. But the sukto was very cold was seemed not fresh. I called to ask them when it was made because I was planning to give it to my kid, and they said it was freshly made today morning and they put the fresh item in the freezer. This is a blatant lie and made no sense. When I visited the restaurant last week, I saw all their items outside in a showcase and some fish items in pans outside. Why would they keep the sukto in freezer when all other items outside. They are a new restaurant, I didn't think they would serve old foods, but they do. I got chicken roast last week, while it was decent, it didn't taste fresh if you know what I mean. My advice to the restaurant would be to please provide...
