Hyd Bawarchi Biryani — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I have been a customer of this place for the last 9 yrs now and this place used to serve the best biryani in the town but not anymore and now I hate to say that I have been noticing the quality of food deteriorate overtime.

As usual, I ordered family pack Veg biryani and paid with my credit card and they charge almost $30 for the family pack including the $2 charge (which is absurd and is a whole different story) if paying by Credit/Debit card.

With my recent experiences with the quality of the food, spicyness and the quantity of the veggies they give in their family pack biryanis, I specifically asked them to make it medium spicy add extra vegetables. Even after that, there were very few veggies (probably about 6-8 pieces of carrot, about 5-7 potato pieces and a few peas in the biryani when I opened it up. They used to have zucchini, snap peas, Lima beans (I assume) and other veggies and used to garnish with fried onion and coriander etc .

Biryani has now become below average these days. The Management and staff needs to think of ways to improve the food but not to worsen it.

Im from Connecticut and was a regular customer to this store for last 10 years and they used to maintain good quality food and decent customer service. But I see a new guys have taken over and since then I’m having worst customer service. It was a 4th time I had another bad experience. On Oct 22 2021 during afternoon 2pm I went to this store. Person with worst face expressions came to counter to ask what I want after standing at front of the store for 10 minutes. Then I asked for veg biryani he said sorry it takes 30 mins and he just walked away even without asking wether I’m interested or not. The store was not even busy at all. Not sure why they are doing this to customers these days frequently. The owner should feel shame about this and employing such persons. I would never visit this store again rather prefer other restaurants near...

I have been eating in this place for past 5 years. I have tried all biryani’s in this place. Let me give my honest review.. This place used to have Awesome Biryanis …but there seems to be management change in recent years. So the taste is no longer the same. Biryani looks delicious but when i eat it it’s soo dry..the rice didn’t have any softness and delicious moisture to it. Rice is soo plain and dry it feels like eating plain basmati rice. Meat is tender.. but hardly have any spices on it. And for service… the people are friendly..but for last two years every time i order i either requested double masala or spicy trying to find the lost taste … but no matter what i request for ..all i got is same plain rice..especially when the owner is in kitchen…not sure why🤔 The wow factor that made this restaurant stand out from the rest is...
