Sai Datta Peetham — Attraction in Edison

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Sai Datta Peetham temple. I had requested an Abhishek, but the priest refused in a manner that I perceived as rude. I patiently waited for 1 hour. I understand that temples have rules and protocols, but I felt that the communication could have been handled more respectfully. I hope the temple management will consider providing guidance to their staff on effective communication and customer service. I still appreciate the temple's spiritual significance and beauty but hope for a more welcoming experience in the future.

I've never been treated so poorly at a place of worship. Priest had the nerve to say that it's a hassle to clean up. It's a temple, not a private club! If you can't handle a little cleaning, then maybe you shouldn't be running a temple. Devotees have their belief that if they’re worshipping even if it’s wrong no one should come in between and interrupt anyone’s pooja. I've been to plenty of other temples where they welcome everyone...

This is the most peaceful place that I have ever visited. This is my go-to place for inner peace. Their celebrations for every Hindu festival are really impeccable. I am a very much believer for Lord Kalabhairava and this is the only place in the USA where I have seen his temple. There is also an Ayyappan temple and every month they are very devoted to make the Padi Pooja. And also the most important traditions for Ayyappa Swamy, the Maladharanam and Irumudi process is also very impressive as per my friend, who has taken the 41 day vow last year and he has become a regular visitor to this temple. Beautiful Indian temple constructed by Indian volunteers .. maintained by them.. all gods are there.. mainly Vinayaka , ayyappa , shiva , Vishnu , Durga , subrmanya, Saibaba , Datta , Vasavi matha , Navagraha , .. they pooja all poojas , vratam , homams , abhishekam z… daily Abhishekams to the respective deities in that particular day .. they provide Prasad through out the day.. temple is open from morning till 1 PM and then from 5 till 8:30 PM .. cultural events and activities are carried out .. many activities are been taken up and driven.. flag hoisting on India Independence Day .. many special events , guests , prominent personalities, spiritual scholars , leaders also conduct works shops .. they have a small auditorium.. many volunteers help in all...
