Worst Starbucks on both coasts. Came to visit family in New York (from Arizona) and on the way to DC stopped here for potty break (kiddos) and coffee break (adults) but should've just kept driving.
The baristas were incredibly slow, walking from place to place like it was a leisurely slow Sunday, not a jam-packed Saturday with 27 people in line waiting to order. The woman taking our order kept asking me what size I wanted (even though the first words out of my mouth were "could I please get 2 GRANDE caramel macchiatos?)...
We waited 25 minutes for 3 coffees and had to ask 3 times for our bagel. A man behind us also said it's the slowest Starbucks he's ever seen, a women next to us had to ask them to remake her drink as it was hot and she ordered it iced, and the guy on our other side finally gave up and left without his and his girl's drinks.
The coffee shop itself was filthy, the counters were covered in empty straw wrappers, spilled coffee, and dirty napkins. Read moreAwful customer service from a skinny white short girl. Don't have her name as I wasn't given a receipt. She was giving an attitude since she took my order. As I aproached the counter to order I said hi good morning but they just stared at me. I'm used to it as it seems most people who work in customer service don't have manners or are too tired of dealing with people. I order a cappuccino which was only 1/4 cup full. The girl had stepped from behind the counter so she saw when I handed the cup to my husband and he complained about it almost being empty. Before I could even say anything she looked at us and said cappuccinos are only foam. As we were stepping away she mumbled something about trash in the counter to what we hadn't even left anything behind and it was a mess before we even got there. I turned and asked what she had said and she didn't even look at me and said oh it was just about trash. She clearly needs to work at a place where she doesn't have to talk to customers. Read moreThis is the 3rd time I come to this starbucks in this month. Each time the employees REFUSE to serve frozen drinks. Once they said that the blender was not working, the seccond time they said they couldnt make them because they had to clean the blenders. And today at 1:00pm they said the Ice machine was not working but they were serving ice cold drinks. The cashier did not have a name tag and she had glasses on and was completely rude and sarcastic and said that she could not do anythimg about it and refused to give a customer service number. We felt disrespected. The customer service was horrible. This staff needs a traiming on basic customer service skills and need to learn how treat others kindly and with respect.
