Sweet bread and cakes are good.. there are other not well-known bakeries that have better products. I stopped buying at Miranda's in 2017 when my wedding cake was not what I ordered. But we had my niece's birthday on August 31 and I decided to give Miranda's another chance because the people attending the birthday party wanted a mil hojas from Miranda's but all was messed up âčïž First the biggest cake is $160.. others have it for $150, $140 etc.. but well.. I am ok paying whatever I have for my nice's cake. I have to pick it up at 4 pm, I got there 4:10 and I noticed they were looking for something... then the came to me and said "they are finishing your cake, it will take 3 minutes.. while you wait we will charge the rest you own for your order." I did paid and 20 minutes passed and no cake...then 30 minutes, so I asked them and they just keep saying "they are finishing your cake" ... I honestly got really mad. .. My husband was waiting in the car with my two kids.. the weather that day was 97 Fh degrees.. baby was crying... I honestly got really mad at them and requested a discount or a something and they said: "The owners are not here, if you want to we can call them and you can wait until the get here to give you a discount." I already waited 30 minutes and they wanted me to wait longer LOL. Also at other bakeries I was told that in summer the cake after is ready it must go directly to the fridge for at least couple hours so it won't start melting because the hot weather. A really bad experience and guess what I permanently will stop buying products from them. All the guest at the birthday knew about it and they said they will also not going to order any cakes. For a moment a wanted to request a refund but my niece was not going to get a birthday cake so I had just to let all this matter pass. If you order something from them, call them the previous day or several hours previus the pick up time to COMFIRM your order. That will save you a...
Read more6 months ago I placed a wedding cake order and the cashier told me to put a $20 deposit and the money was REFUNDABLE, so I put a $25 instead. A week ago, I went to change the cake flavors when the baker told me that she didnât reserve my spot and didnât want to make my wedding cake because I didnât put more money for the deposit. I told her that her cashier told me to only put $20 and why she didnât call me to tell me that she wasnât going to do my wedding cake. The bakery rudely accused me of being a liar and didnât believe me. So I put $100 more because itâs for my wedding⊠After reflecting on the experience, my loved ones suggested to order a cake from somewhere else⊠So today, when I went to cancelled, they kept 40% of my money because, in their own words, âI wasted their timeâ.
Donât waste your time buying cakes from here. They are unprofessional, WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, and donât...
Read moreI probably was spending $100 a week at this bakery for items that were $1.50 a piece and lately the product I'm getting is at least two to three day old product that they're pulling out and selling at full price and you can tell when a flaky pastry is all sunken on itself and no longer flaky and dripping with moisture and they literally sold those for full price without any notification of them being old or days old and they don't see a problem with either replacing it for quality product or giving you your money back they just ended their $400 income for a month from me. Oh and cramming flaky product into one bag with a dozen flaky crispies and the other I'm not sure the name of instead of giving me two bags wanted to charge me for an additional bag I asked for a box and they charged me a $1.50 after I spent over $20 on product and then they sold me the days old crap...
