I have never visited this location prior to last week and I was severely disappointed. I love Papa Murphy's. I worked at multiple locations for over 8 years total and was a shift supervisor and feel I am pretty well versed in what a good experience should be and what standards should be met. Firstly, I was not greeted upon entering the store. The guys behind the counter were too busy conversating to acknowledge my existence and continued their conversation through-out the entire time I was ordering. Secondly, No one was making pizzas prior to me entering the store and I was the only walk-in. My ticket got put last in a stack of order tickets they were neglecting and I had to wait over 40 minutes before my ticket(for one pizza) even hit the line. My order was also being critically discussed right in front of my face for "number of toppings". In my experience walk-ins should always be prioritized to get customers in and out and maybe they should have made the other pizzas before I even got there. Thirdly, this place was dirty. I don't know if it was just the night I went in or what but they had no sanitizer buckets out. There hand washing station looked like it's never been washed and was bone dry(alarming since it suggests no hand washing was taking place), and under the make lines there was old dried food and hair ties that looked like they had been there for sometime. I'm not sure they sweep there everyday as they should be. They also kept going to and from the back of the store touching the register and various surfaces without changing gloves as well as patting each other on the backs. And lastly, my pizza was very poorly wrapped and it was already coming off before I even got to the car. They also forgot my monkey bread and I had to go back in to receive it. We will not be returning to this location, but hopefully this review can get a few things fixed for other customers...
Read moreI've never had this location mess up any orders, and my orders were all made on time, ready for me to pick up when I got there.
I worked in the pizza industry for a few years. I've hand made many pizzas, and I've spent time in front of some ovens. Papa Murphy's isn't so much a restaurant, in a way, as they don't serve fully prepared food. They're more of a prep kitchen, with a very specific prep. It's nice for me to get an uncooked pizza, because I can cook it exactly how I want(often on a Traeger grill, for some woodfire smoke flavor), and I can redistribute toppings around for more even cooking, if need be. Most of pizzas I've purchased from here have been prepped nicely, barring a few stray toppings that needed remaneuvering, and the toppings have...
Read moreToday, I ordered the family size Cowboy Pizza. I spoke to a girl at the store put in my order and preceded to give her my Visa number and name. My daughter went to pick up the pizza thinking it was paid for. However, they said it wasn't paid for and they don't take payments over the phone. It would have been nice if this employee simply told me this and caused a whole lot less drama for me, my daughter and them. Employees need to listen to their customers. People need to slow down. Even if the store is busy, good customer service requires employees to slow down and listen. All customers understand when a store is busy and most will...
